アウラニひとり旅（2日目：ラニヴァイ・スパ） / Traveling Alone to Aulani, Disney Resort and Spa (Day2:Laniwai Spa)

アウラニ滞在2日目。この日の午後はグリーティングがたくさん。ハロウィーンのコスチュームだったこともあり、がっつりと楽しんじゃいました。
The 2nd day of my Aulani trip, I enjoyed Disney Character Greeting so much in the afternoon. As they were in Halloween outfits, it was exciting.

空いている時間におやつを食べたり、コイポンドのえさやりを眺めたり。とても充実した時間です。
While spare time, I had snack, and watched Koi fish feeding at Koi pound. Fruitful day:)

そして夕方からは、ラニヴァイ・スパでのトリートメント。この午前中に、直接カウンターへ行き、予約をしておきました。日本人の受付の方だったので、話はとってもスムーズ。最終受付は6:00pmだけど、それだとトリートメントを受けた後にスパの施設が使えないということで、5:00pmから50分のシグネチャー・ロミロミを予約しました。
From the evening, I had spa treatment at Laniwai Spa. I had made reservation in the morning of the day. As the receptionist was Japanese, the conversation was easy to understand for me. The last admission was 6:00pm, but I booked 50 minutes signature Lomilomi at 5:00pm to enjoy spa amenities after the treatment.

トリートメントの1時間くらい前に、スパにチェックイン。たまたまなのかセラピストの方も日本人の方で、ちょっとホッとしました。スパに向かう途中でフルーツの風味のお水をいただきながら、目をつぶってハワイ語の書いてある石を選びます。私が選んだのは、「Ho'olohe」。Listen（聞く）という意味なんだそうです。何か、周りに耳を傾けたほうがよい状態なんですかね？そして、選んだ石はこの水に、願いをかけながら投げ入れます。なんだか非日常の始まりの儀式ようでした。
I checked-in Laniwai spa 1 hour before the treatment appointment. The therapist was also Japanese, I felt easy. After check-in, I could had fruits infused water. Then I picked a stone with Hawaiian word from the basket. The one I picked was "Ho'olohe" (Listen). Ummm, meaningful! Finally I threw it into a beautiful pound with a prayer. It was something like a ceremony to dive into the extraordinary.

そのあとはトリートメントが始まるまで、スパ施設で休憩。屋外にはハイドロセラピー・ガーデンがあり、水着でジェットバスやレインシャワーが楽しめます。こちらは男女で同じ施設を利用できるので、カップルの方でもよいかも。横になれるスペースもあり、りんごやチョコレートなどのちょっとしたおやつも用意されていますし、別料金にはなりますがスムージーなんかもオーダーできるみたい。もうちょっと早く来ればよかったー。
After that I could try spa amenities. Hydrotherapy Garden, jet bath and rain shower was available outdoor. It needed swimwear. There also was relaxing space. Some snacks, apples and chocolates, waited for guests. Smoothies could be ordered with additional cost. I should come earlier to enjoy amenities more...

ジェットバスで体がほかほかになったところで、ガウンに着替え、個室に移動します。温めた石を使ったマッサージで、結構ごりごりと施術してもらえ、肩こりもすっきり。トリートメントに使うクリームの香りと、音楽は選ばせてもらえたのもよかった！よりリラックスできました。
Then I had signature Lomilomi treatment. I got relieved so much. The smell of treatment cream and music could be chosen. This was also good point.

トリートメント後もしばしゴロゴロと過ごし、最後にお会計。50分のシグネチャー・ロミロミが175ドル。20%のサービス料と税金で合計218.24ドルのところ、クーポンをもっていたので208.24ドルでした。ちょっとお値段張りますが、ホテルのスパってやっぱり素晴らしい。ぜひ、一度体験してみてください。おすすめです。
The price for Signature Lomilomi 50 minutes was total 218.24 USD (175 USD+20% service charge+tax). As I had a coupon, it became 208.24 USD finally. Laniwai Spa was heavenly experience for me:)

ビッグバンドビートを良い席で見てみたい@TDS / Big Band Beat from great seat

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。東京ディズニーシーで私が一番好きなショー、ビッグバンドビート。一度、良い席で見てみたいと思い立って、今日は朝から並んでみることにしました。
I really love Big Band Beat, a theater show at Tokyo DisneySea. As I wanted to watch it from great seat, I tried to line up early morning.

ビックバンドビートは、2回目以降の公演の1階席は抽選制になっています。逆に言えば1回目の公演は、抽選に当たらなくても1階席で見られるということ。ということで、狙うは今日の1回目、12:40pmからの公演です。ブロードウェイ・ミュージックシアターに到着したのは8:30am、私は30人目くらいでした。そこから約4時間の待ち時間、、、見事2列目、中央から少し右寄りのお席をゲットしました！
As for Big Band Beat, from the second performance onwards, the orchestra level will be reserved seating only. Reserved seat tickets are available by lottery. In other words, the first performance does not require a reserved seat ticket. Then I tried to wait for the first performance, 12:40pm, today. It was 8:30am when I arrived, so I was in line for 4 hours! Finally I got the 2nd low seat.

やっぱり間近で見ると迫力が違いますね。いつもは演奏とおでこで（すいません）認識していたピアノの方、やっとお顔が見れました。ブラスの皆さんが楽しそうに演奏している姿も、今日はじめてよく見えました。シンガーの方々もステキ。イケメン！舞台の上のみなさんの表情までよく見えて、なんだかドキドキです。これは惚れちゃう人がいるのも納得です。とっても楽しかったです。
It was very impressive when I watched the show up close. I could see players expression so much. Especially singers! really cool! My heart was beating so fast. I understood why some guests fall in love with dancers or players.

さて、自分の備忘も兼ねて、今日の列の伸び方を記録しておきます。今日がそうだったという、ご参考情報としてご覧ください。
By the way, I would like to record how the queue made as my memorandum. This is today's case.

8:30am　並び始め。シアター前ではなく、列はアメリカンウォーターフロントパーク側。30人くらい。I started waiting. The queue was not in front of the theater, but beside American Waterfront Park. 30 persons were waiting.
9:00am　トイストーリーマニアのファストパスの列が落ち着いたので、シアター前に移動。The queue moved to the theater side.
9:30am　待ち40人くらい。 Around 40 persons were in the queue.
10:00am　待ち80人くらい。 Around 80 persons were in the queue.
11:00am　このくらいからぞろぞろ人が増えてくる。フード持参の人多し。 The queue was getting long. Some had meal.
11:40am　列は3列に。 The queue became 3 lines.
12:10am　入場開始。 Door opened.

中央ブロック、1列目が13席、2列目が14席、3列目が15席なので、計算上今日のペースだと9:30amくらいまでに並んでおけば、中央前列で見られることになりますね。ただし、皆さんお気にいりのお席があるようで、実際には前から埋まるわけではありませんでした。奥深いです。次またいつかチャレンジしてみます。
The 1st row of central block is 13 seats, 14 seats for the 2nd row, 15 seats for 3rd row. Mathematically if I could come to the theater by 9:30am then I could have the front row seats of central block. Some guests had their own favorite seats, it's deep:0 I will try someday again.

[今日のよるごはん / Today's Dinner]
S.S.コロンビア・ダイニングルームでスペシャルセットをいただきました。お肉がやわらかくっておいしいかったー。デザートはクリスマスツリーの形です。
I had special set at S.S. Colombia Dining Room. The roasted beef was tender and good. Dessert was Christmas tree shaped.

アウラニひとり旅（2日目：マカヒキで朝食） / Traveling Alone to Aulani, Disney Resort and Spa (Day2:Breakfast at Makahiki)

アウラニ滞在2日目。朝は早起きして、マカヒキで朝食です。こちらはアンティーズ・ブレックファースト・セレブレーションと言って、アンティとディズニーのキャラクターたちがお迎えしてくれる、キャラクターダイニングです。とっても人気なので、予約がおすすめ。私も事前に、ミッキーネットを通じて予約をしておきました。
My trip to Aulani, day 2. I woke up early and went to Makahiki restaurant to have breakfast. It was called as "Aunty’s Breakfast Celebration at the Makahiki”, a Disney Character Dining. As it was very famous, I booked in advance via Mickey Net, the travel agency I used.

予約はオープンと同時の7:00am。うっかり寝坊して5分ほど遅れて到着したら、すでに行列ができていました。受付をして20分くらい列に並んで、まずはミッキーとのグリーティング。フォトパスのカメラマンさんがいましたが、ここでの写真は通常のフォトパスとは別料金だそうで、後でお席まで写真を買うかどうかを聞きに来てくれます。この日は、ミニーとプルートがお席まで遊びに来てくれました。別の日に、グーフィーがいるところも見かけたので、日によって少し違いがあるみたいです。
My reservation was at 7:00am, the same time of the restaurant opening. I arrived 5 minutes late, then there was long queue already. After check-in, I waited for Mickey's greeting for about 20 minutes. PhotoPass was available but it was not included normal PhotoPass service. It needed to pay separately. While having breakfast, a PhotoPass cast came to my table and ask if I needed to buy pictures or CDs. I could meet Minnie and Pluto around the table on the day, however I found Goofy on the other day. It means characters may differ day by day.

お料理はとっても豪華！葉物野菜は見かけなかったですが。フルーツは盛りだくさん、オムレツをその場で作ってくれるカウンターや和食のコーナーもありました。私は、エッグベネディクトとマヒマヒのソテー、ハワイアンハム、ミッキーワッフルとヨーグルト、それとフルーツをたっぷりいただき、本当に満腹でした。特にパパイヤがものすごく甘くておいしかった！パンの種類も豊富だったので、もっと食べたかったんですが・・・さすがに限界で諦めました。
There were plenty of meal at buffet. I couldn't have leafy vegetables, but there were many kind of fruits, Made-to-order omelets station, and Japanese food corner. I had egg benedict, grilled "mahimahi" Hawaiian fish, Hawaiian ham, Mickey waffle, yogurt and fruits. Especially papaya was really good and sweet. I wanted to have bread as well but I couldn't because I really was full.

食事中は、ひとり旅の私にサーバーさんが気を配ってくれて、キャラクターが来てくれるたびにカメラのお手伝いをしてくれました。飲み物の追加注文もこまめに気付いてくれて、ほんとにうれしかったー。アンティがウクレレを弾きながら歌っていたり、ミニーとレストランのなかをパレードしたり、朝からにぎやかで素敵な時間を過ごせました。料金は大人39ドルで、税金とチップを加えてお支払いしました。
While eating, a server cast took care of me well. She quickly asked additional drink, and took my pictures when characters came:) Aunty's song with Ukulele, the parade with Minnie and so on, it was lively morning at Makahiki restaurant. The breakfast buffet for adult was 39 USD, plus tax and tips.

食事の後は、プールサイドのチェアでのんびり読書。とっても優雅です。
After breakfast, I read a book on the chair beside the pool. Relaxing time.

アウラニひとり旅（1日目：オレロルーム） / Traveling Alone to Aulani, Disney Resort and Spa (Day1:The 'Olelo Room)

アウラニひとり旅、1日目。キャラクターグリーティングやアクティビティを楽しんでいたらあっという間に夕方。夕暮れのホテルをお散歩してみます。子供用のプールは5:00pmまで、流れるプールは6:00pmまで、大人用のプールのみが8:00pmまでとあって、落ち着いた雰囲気になってきました。
On the 1st day of my travel to Aulani. While I enjoyed Disney Character Greeting and hotel activities, it became dark. I walked through the resort. Children's pool was closed at 5:00pm, stream pool at 6:00pm, and only Adult's pool was available on the time. It was getting calm.

このいい雰囲気のなかお酒を飲みたくなったので、夕食はオレロルームでとることに。ホテル1階部分にあるバーで、朝食の時間帯にはマカヒキに来るゲストとミッキーが写真を撮っているあたりです。「オレロ」とはハワイ語で、「単語」とか「語り合い」といった意味だそうで、バーの壁面にはびっしりと、ハワイ語の単語が書かれていました。
As I felt to have some drink in this calm atmosphere, I went to 'Olelo Room, a bar on the 1st floor. It is photo spot with Mickey Mouse for Makahiki guests while breakfast. The Hawaiian word "'Olelo" means "word" or "conversation". There were many Hawaiian words on the wall.

写真に惹かれて飲み物はカクテルを注文。ビールの種類も豊富でしたし、グラスワインも、ノンアルコールのカクテルもそろっています。おつまみもいくつかありましたが、ハワイアンランチャーズスライダーというのを頼んでみました。ジューシーなパティとベーコン、アボカドがはいったミニバーガーみたいなものです。パンがハワイのスイートブレッドで、この甘さが癖になるおいしさ。魔女っ子ミニーの焼き印が押してあるのはハロウィーンだったからかもしれません。ミニバーガーといってもボリュームはたっぷりでおなかいっぱいになりました。ひとり旅だと、1つでおなかいっぱいになってしまうのがさみしいところです。
I ordered a glass of cocktail. There were many kind of beer, glass wine and non-alcohol cocktail on the menu. I also ordered Hawai’i Ranchers Sliders. Juicy beef, bacon and avocado were good. And I loved Hawaiian sweet bread. Witch Minnie's stamp on the bread, I think, because it was Halloween time. Even though it was mini burger, I became full while I want try more dishes. This is one disappointing think of solo travel.

ハワイアンミュージックの生演奏を聴きながらのおいしいお酒とごはん。夜になって風も涼しく・・・アウラニって、本当に楽園です。この日は夜にもグリーティングがあったので、さらに楽しんでからお部屋に戻りました。おやすみなさい。
Great cocktail and food with Hawaiian music play:) It was cooler after dark. Aulani was so wonderful. I enjoyed greeting with Mickey and Goofy after dinner, then went back to my room.

アウラニひとり旅（1日目：ホテル内のアクティビティ） / Traveling Alone to Aulani, Disney Resort and Spa (Day1:Hotel Activitly)

アウラニひとり旅、ここからは時系列に沿って書いていくことにします。今日は1日目のお話です。
I would like to write along the time series about my experience of Aulani, Disney Resort and Spa. This blog is about Day 1.

ホノルル空港からアウラニに移動し、チェックイン。ラッキーなことにすぐにお部屋に案内してもらえました。チェックインの時に忘れずにもらいたいのが、デイリーイヴァとウイークリーイヴァ。どちらも館内でのアクティビティについて書かれているパンフレットです。ここはリゾートホテル。ゲストのための無料アクティビティがたくさんあるんですね。デイリーの方は、毎日更新、英語版のみ。ウイークリーの方はごとの更新で日本語版もあります。
Soon after I arrived at Aulani, I could check-in to my room luckily. Please do not forget to get "Daily 'IWA" and "Weekly 'IWA", guide leaflets of the activities at Aulani as there are so many free activities for guests. "Daily 'IWA" is in English only but "Weekly" can be read in English and Japanese.

実は、毎日のアクティビティはウェブサイトからも見られるようになっていまして、私は事前に、この日は2つのアクティビティに参加しようと決めていました。1つ目はアロハ・ファン・ウィズ・ディズニーフレンズ、2つ目はオハナ・ホオカニピラです。
In fact, the daily schedule can be checked via the official web site. I had checked it before hand and planed to join two activities, Aloha Fun with Disney friends, and 'Ohana Hookani Pila.

アロハ・ファン・ウィズ・ディズニーフレンズは、キプカローンで行われていました。みんなでサーフィンごっこをしていると、うしろから現れたのはグーフィー！椅子取りゲームのような、サーフィンボード取りゲームをやったり、最後はみんなで記念撮影をしたり。小さなお子様向けのプログラムでした。参加されるのであれば、事前にフォトパスのQRコードが入ったリストバンドをもらっておくとよさそうです。なぜならカメラマンさんがバシバシ写真を撮ってくれるから。集合写真など、自分のリストバンドに紐づけされていない写真も、ショップに行けば、フォトパスCDに含めてもらえるそうです。これはうれしいサービスですね。
Aloha Fun with Disney friends was held at Kipuka Lawn. While participants were trying surfing play, Goofy joined! Musical surfing boards game like musical chairs, and group photo, it was great fun for children. If you will join, I think it is better to have PhotoPass wristband because there will be a photographer to take participants photo. Some photo, e.g. group pictures can be linked to the wristband at Kalepa's Store near the front desk.

そういえば、同じアクティビティを前回滞在時も見た記憶があるのですが、この時に遊びに来ていたのはチップとデールでした。キャストの方も誰が来るとは明確に言っていなかったので、もしかしたらその日によって違うのかもしれません。
I think I watched the same activity when I was there before, not Goofy but Chip and Dale came to the play. Disney Characters might change depending on the day.

もう一つ参加したのが、オハナ・ホオカニピラ。タイトルだけだとなんのこっちゃですが、要するにウクレレレッスンです。こちらは建物1階のパウ・ハナ・ルームで行われています。演奏に夢中になって、写真がほとんど残ってない・・・。ひとりに1台ウクレレを持ち、4つのコード（C, G, Am,F）を習い、最後はその4つのコードに合わせてキャストの方と一緒に歌う、というプログラム。残念ながら私はどの歌も知らなかったんですが、何人かの方は口ずさんでいたのでアメリカでは有名な曲なんだと思います。ハワイの打楽器についても教えてもらえます。こちらは大人でも十分に楽しめますし、うっかりするとウクレレが欲しくなっちゃいそうです。"デイリーイヴァ"には、「パウハナルームで申し込みしてね」と書いてあったので、何時間か前に申し込みに行きましたが、席とウクレレは十分にあり、飛び込みでも入れそうな感じでした。
Another one was Ohana Hookani Pila, at Pau Hana Room on the ground floor. I couldn't understand the meaning of the title "Ohana Hookani Pila".... This is, in short, Ukulele lesson. I concentrated playing Ukulele so much, only one photo can be upload. Everyone could use one ukulele each, and tried 4 codes (C, G, Am, F). Then sing and play Ukulele using 4 codes. I didn't know songs a cast sung, but some could sing. Thus I think they were famous song in USA. The cast also told some story about Hawaiian drums. This activity is good for adults, and some might want to buy Ukulele:P As "Daily 'IWA" said to sign up at Pau Hana Room, I signed up beforehand. But there were plenty of seats and Ukuleles available. I think guests can join just before it starts.

これ以外にも、ビーチでブートキャンプとか、スポーツ系のアクティビティもあります。遠くから眺めて見たところ、スクワットしたり砂の上をダッシュしたり、結構きつそうなメニューでした。食べすぎちゃった次の日には良いかも？こんな感じで、グリーティングもありアクティビティもありで、アウラニ滞在はひとりでも全く暇になることなく、むしろ1日があっという間に感じられました。
Other than these 2 activities, sport activities, such as Beach Body Boot Camp, were also available. When I watched it, the menu was squat and dash on sand. Really hard for me, but it is good on the next day of big dinner. I totally enjoyed free activities:)

ザ・ヴィランズ・ワールド@TDS / The Villans World

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。ハワイハワイと浮かれている間に、もう10月の終わり。気づいてしまいました、私、まだ、ディズニーシーのハロウィーンのショー見ていない！！ということで、今日慌ててみてきました。
Hi, while I went to Hawaii, it became the end of October already. And...I found that I didn't watch the Halloween show at Tokyo DisneySea yet! Then I went there today.

今年のディズニーシーのハロウィーンは、ディズニーの悪役たちが主役。メインのショーは、ハーバーで行われる「ザ・ヴィランズ・ワールド」です。今日は最後の日曜日ということもあり、開園してすぐにハーバー正面のミッキー広場の座り見エリアは案内終了となっていました。私も8:10amには入園できたんですが、それでも、ミッキー広場左の側面の、立ち見2列目をなんとかゲットしたという感じ。ディズニーシーのハーバーショーは本当に場所取りが大変です。
The leads of Halloween show at Tokyo DisneySea is Disney Villans. Its main show is "The Villans World", a harbor show. As it was Sunday today, Piazza Topolino was filled by guests so quickly. I watched it from left side today. It was really hard to have good seat for harbor shows at TDS.

私の望遠レンズでは、船に乗っているところは撮れなかったですが、無事に舞台上の姿は見ることができました。東京のミッキーミニーは本当に機敏によく動きますね。
I couldn't take pictures of barges, but could watch characters on the stage. Mickey and Minnie at TDR danced very quickly.

ショーの最後には全キャラクターが集合。うーん、やっぱり正面から見たかった！ザ・ヴィランズ・ワールドは今年で終了だそうなので、クリスマスのショーで気合を見せることにします。
At the end of the show, all Disney Characters came to main stage. I want to watch them head-on. The last play of "The Villans World" will be Oct-31st. As I won't have chance anymore, I will try my best when Christmas show.

[今日のお買い物 / Today's Shopping]
そろそろ寒くなってきたので、冬のパークで使えそうなものを買いました。左が、レジャーシート。表面がフリースのような素材、裏が銀色の保温シートになっていてあったかそう。その分お高めの1800円です。右の写真はドリンクボトル。ミッキーのスクリーンデビュー90周年を記念したグッズのうちの一つ。2900円でした。
As it is getting colder these days, I bought something good for winter Disney visit. Left picture is a leisure sheet. Its face is fleece, and back surface is heat insulation sheet, warm:) It was 1800 yen. The other one is a vacuum bottle with Mickey's 90th birthday celebration design. 2900 yen.

アウラニひとり旅（キャラクターグリーティング２） / Traveling Alone to Aulani, Disney Resort and Spa (Character Greeting 2)

前の記事に引き続いて、アウラニでのキャラクターグリーティングのお話です。今回の滞在はハロウィーンのイベント期間中だったので、ハロウィーンのお洋服のキャラクターたちにも会うことができました。こちらもとってもかわいいんです。日によってハロウィーン衣装の日とそうでない日がありました。全員に会おうと思うと忙しい！3泊してよかったと感じました。毎日のスケジュールについては、前回の記事にまとめていますので、そちらをご参照ください。
Continuing, this blog is about Character Greetings at Aulani. It was Halloween event season while I stayed and I could meet them with Halloween outfits. They were really cute:) Sometimes Halloween version and sometimes not. So if you want to meet all characters with both outfits, it will take several days. I felt busy to meeting them and 3 nights stay was good enough for me. As for daily schedule, please also see my previous blog.

まずは、夜のグリーティングの時のお写真。8:00pmからはグーフィー、8:30pmからはミッキーだとキャストの方が教えてくれたので、2回並んじゃいました。グーフィーのこのポーズは、古代エジプトの壁画をイメージしているみたいです。
Let's start with Evening Greeting Session. I met Goofy at 8:00pm and Mickey at 8:30pm.

ミッキーにはその後、日中のグリーティングで再会。ミニーは魔女のコスチュームでした。
I also met Mickey daytime. Minnie became a witch.

プルートは変化がわかりづらいんですが、名札がこうもりの形になっています。
Pluto! His name tag was bat shaped.

ダッフィーとシェリーメイ。これはいったいなんのコスチュームなんでしょうね。農場の人かな？
Duffy and Shellie May, farmers?

デイジーとドナルド。ドナルド、、、彼だけお笑い方向。でもかわいいですね。
Daisy and Donald. Donald... lovely and funny pumpkin.

スティッチはレイがかぼちゃの色。通常だと白いレイをつけています。
Stitch wore pumpkin colored lei. Normally his lei is white.

そして、チップとデール。泥棒と警察ですね。
Cop Chip and Robber Dale. So cute.

全体的に同じキャラクターなら2回目のグリーティングの方が空いています。おむつ替え中の赤ちゃんにちょっかいをだすミニーや、暇そうなミッキー、わちゃわちゃしているチップとデールなどなど、東京ではなかなか見られない光景をたくさん見かけました。スケジュールが許すのであれば、2回目がおすすめです。
2nd greeting sessions was not crowded than 1st sessions. I watched Minnie was meddleing a baby, Mickey was looked bored, and chattering Chip and Dale while 2nd sessions. If you have time, I recommend to try 2nd session.
