こんにちは、ねこたろうです。今回は、ディズニーはまったく関係ない話題、フライトとラウンジについてのお話です。今回のWDW旅行はパッケージツアーを利用、もちろんエコノミークラスでの予約だったんですが、素晴らしいことに行きの成田・ワシントンDC間のユナイテッドエアライン便をビジネスクラスにアップグレードしていただきました。俗に言うインボラアップグレードというやつですね。ラッキーこの上ない！2017年の途中でANAのステイタスがプラチナ（＝スターアライアンスのゴールド）になったせいもあるのかな？
Hi, this is Nekotaro. Today's story is about my flight and lounges report during WDW trip. I used a package tour arranged by travel agency this time. Of course the class was economy, but I got involuntary upgrade of our seat:) Thus we could use business class seat from Narita to Washington D.C, United Airline. I assume it was because I had become Platinum status of ANA mileage club. Platinum of ANA is equal to Star alliance Gold status.
ということで、成田発・ワシントンDC行き、ユナイテッド航空UA804便、ビジネスクラスのミニ搭乗記です。仕様機材はボーイング777-200、最近多い個室型ではなかったので、2人でおしゃべりできてちょうど良かったです。なぜか、進行方向に向かう向きの席と後ろ向きの席があるつくりでした。初めて見ました！後ろ向きに進むの酔いそうだなぁ。私は前向きのシートでした。ちゃんとフルフラットになりまして、サックスフィフスアベニューのおふとんをかけて寝られるようになっています。アメニティは「さよなら747」仕様でした。
Thus I would like to report our flight, United Airline UA 804 from Narita to Washington, D.C., Business class. Aircraft was Boeing 777-200. It was not a private room seat, but it was better for us to talk during flight. There were back facing seats. I never saw before. We were on front facing seats. Of course it was full flat seat, and blanket made by Saks Fifth Avenue. Amenity was "farewell 747" model.
1回目の食事は、和食か洋食。洋食の場合はさらに、鶏肉かサーモンか牛肉かが選べます。私はサーモンにしました。味はまあ、こんなもんかと。デザートがアメリカっぽくてですね、バニラアイスに好きなだけトッピングを乗せてもらえる、というものでした。私はおなかいっぱいだったのでいちごのソースだけかけてもらったんですが（これが、果肉が多くてとてもおいしかった）、CAさんに「それだけでいいの？」と聞かれるくらい控えめだったみたい。チョコレートやキャラメルのソース、生クリームなんかをこってりたっぷり乗せて召し上がってる方もいました。チーズと小さなタルトやチョコレートケーキももらえました。2回目の食事は朝食で、和食がお魚、洋食はキッシュか、シリアルとフルーツ、3種類から選べました。1食目と2食目の間も、軽食が頼めたみたいですが、もーそんなに食べられないって、笑。朝食すらフルーツをつつくくらいしか食べられませんでした。
We could choose from Japanese or Western(chicken, beef or salmon) as a first meal. I took salmon, it was ... so so. I thought the desert was really American, vanilla ice cream with toppings. I took only strawberry source (it was so nice) but a CA said "Are you sure? really enough?" Because other guests took more, such as chocolate, caramel and fresh whipped cream. We also had cheese and small fruits tart and chocolate cake. 2nd meal was breakfast. The choice was Japanese(fish and rice), quiche, or cereal and fruits. Guests could order quick meals between 1st meal and breakfast.
次はラウンジのお話。私、そもそもとっても旅行が好きで、しかも2017年は仕事で時々出張に連れ出されたこともあり、ANAでプラチナステータスを達成、SFC（スーパーフライヤーズカード）を手に入れました。もともとJGC会員でもあったので、これで紫組の仲間入りでございます。いえーい！ということで、今回の旅で訪れたラウンジの写真もいくつかご紹介します。まずは、ワシントンDCのユナイテッドクラブです。アルコールやソーダ類は、バーカウンターに行くともらえます。
Next story is about lounges. Originally I love travel very much and I had opportunities of overseas business trip in 2017. Thus I could get Platinum status of ANA mileage club, and also SFC (Super Flyers Card). I am also JGC (JAL Global Club) holder, then I became a senior member both of JAL and ANA. I would like to show pictures of lounges during WDW trip. First, United Club at Washington D.C.
丸のままのフルーツがあるところが、アメリカっぽいですね。夕方ですが、生野菜もあり、タイ風のカレースープもあり。紅茶の横に、ギラデリのチョコレートドリンクがあったのはうれしかったです。
Whole fruits were really American I think. There was fresh vegetable and Thai curry soup even though it was evening. Ghirardelli's chocolate drink was also there.
こちらは帰りの、シカゴ空港のユナイテッドクラブ。出発ゲートのあるコンコースCには、ラウンジがなく、歩いて10分弱のコンコースBのラウンジを利用しました。
These pictures were taken at United Club at Chicago airport. Concourse C, where our gate was, there were no lounges. Thus we used it at Concourse B.
