こんばんは、ねこたろうです。この間の日曜日、東京ディズニーランドのガイドツアー、「ヒストリー・オブ・東京ディズニーランド」を体験してきました。このツアーは35周年のグランドフィナーレ期間限定の特別なツアー。35年間の歴史を振り返りながら、パーク内をめぐるというものです。
I enjoyed a guide tour "History of Tokyo Disneyland" on last Sunday. It is special tour during Grand Finale of 35th anniversary. Guests walk around Tokyo Disneyland and look back at the history of the park.
予約はオンライン予約・購入サイトから。本当に人気のようで、全然予約できなかったんですが、ある日突然ぽつんと空いているのを見つけてぽちっとしちゃいました。どなたかがキャンセルしたところに当たったようです。大人5800円と結構お高い。でも、大満足でした！もし空きを見つけたら、ぜひとも予約してみてください。
I booked it through online reservation site. It looked so much popular, I had not found vacancy, but suddenly I found one available slot, then I booked. It was 5800 yen. A bit expensive but so much fun.
ツアーのスタートはメインストリート・ハウス。ガイドさんの声が聞こえやすいようにイヤホンをお借りして、ツアースタートです。参加者は12人でした。東京ディズニーランドができる前、工事中の写真を見たり、オープニングセレモニーの映像を見たり。開園当初のマップを片手にパーク内を進んでいきます。
The tour started at Main Street House. Guide cast gave us earphone to hear her voice clearly. We were group of 12 guests. Guide cast showed some pictures, such as the park under construction, the opening ceremony. We walked through the park with old map.
ツアー中、アトラクションに乗る場面もありました。最初は35年前のオープン当初からあるアトラクションの一つ、蒸気船マークトウェイン号。本当に蒸気で動いていて、ボイラー技士さんが乗船しているんですって！それぞれのレバーの役割を教えてもらって、なんかちょっと興奮。意外と知らないことだらけだなぁ。乗船前にはおやつにチョコレートクランチもいただけます。
I had a chance to ride 2 attractions. One was Mark Twain Riverboat, one of oldest attraction which existed when Tokyo Disneyland opened. It runs by steam actually, and boiler expert's license holder was on board. He told us how to run the steamboat. I was excited :) Guide cast gave us chocolate crunch for snack before ride.
船を降りたらファンタジーランドに向かって歩きます。ガイドさんや同じグループの方々とおしゃべりしながら歩くパーク、ちょっと新鮮でした。10分くらいの休憩をはさんで、次のアトラクションはイッツ・ア・スモールワールド。出口のほうから入って乗船するという、なんだか特別な気分です。トゥモローランドでも、昔の写真を見せていただきました。そうそう、スカイウェイとかスタージェットとか、キャプテンEO（マイケルジャクソンが出ていたショートムービー！なつかしい！）とかミクロアドベンチャーとか、いろいろあったなー。ここからは次の新しいアトラクションの工事の様子が見えますし、「東京ディズニーランドは永遠に完成しない」というウォルトディズニーの言葉思い出します。本当にどんどん変化していってるんですね。最後はワールドバザール近くで、懐かしいショッピングバッグをいただいてツアー終了です。
After we left Mark Twain, the we moved to Fantasyland. It was new and rear experience for me to walk with a guide cast and other guests. We had 10 minutes break near Dumbo, and we tried it's a small world. We entered from "exit", wow! It was so special! Moved to Tomorrowland and we saw some old picture of Tomorrowland. I could see old attractions of Tomorrowland, such as Skyway, Star Jet, Captain EO (a short movie show of Michael Jackson!) and Micro Adventure. I miss those days. We can see the constructions of new attraction from Tomorrowland. I really realized Walt's word "Disneyland will never be completed".
It actually changes now and on. Finally we walked to World Bazzar. We got old design shopping bag. Then, it ended.
参加者全員がディズニーランドが好きということが伝わってきて、幸せな気分になれるツアーでした。たった2時間ですが、終わってしまうのが名残惜しくて、シンデレラ城が見える場所に移動してみんなで記念撮影もしました。ここには載せられないですが、みんな楽しそうにしている、とってもいい写真が撮れてました。ご一緒だったみなさん、ありがとうございました。
Every guests of the party loved Disneyland so much, so I felt happy during the tour. It was only 2 hours, but I felt sad to leave it. I think everyone felt the same. We took our group picture with the guide cast, with Cinderella Castle. I can't upload it but... it is great picture:) I appreciate everyone in the group.

イーストサイド・カフェで東京ディズニーリゾート35周年のスペシャルコースにしました。前菜が生ハムのサラダ、ペスカトーレパスタとパン、デザートと飲み物がついて2480円です。パスタが熱々でおいしい！デザートのフロマージュブランムースとストロベリーセミフレッドは、ふわふわのわたあめにいちごのソースをかけていただきます。ごちそうさまでした。
I had Special Menu of 35th anniversary at East Side Cafe. The starter was salad with raw ham. Pescatore pasta, bread, dessert and drink, 2480 yen. The pasta was piping hot and good. The dessert was cheese mousse and strawberry ice cream with cotton candy, so cute.
