こんばんは、ねこたろうです。今日は前回の記事の続きで、東京ディズニーランドの夏のイベントのショーのひとつ、「ジュディとニックのジャンピン・スプラッシュ」をご紹介していきます。
Hi! Today I would like to write about another summer event show, "Judy and Nick's Jumping Splash".
「ジュディとニックのジャンピン・スプラッシュ」は、水しぶきを浴びながらの観戦が楽しい、昼間のショー。お城の前のステージで1日4回、公演されています。公演1回目を除き中央鑑賞エリアは抽選制になっています。公演時間が約10分間と短めで、公演回数も多いので、見るチャンスは多そうですね。
"Judy and Nick's Jumping Splash" is daytime show at the stage in front of the castle. 4 shows a day. If guests want to watch it at viewing area in front of the stage, except the first show, they need to win the lottery. As its duration is only 10 minutes, and 4 times a day, I think there is more chance to watch it.
この日私は、4回目公演の中央鑑賞エリアに当選していました。3回目公演が終わってすぐに、待機列に並び始め、確保できたのは2列目中央より左寄りの位置。夜のショー、「オー！サマー・バンザイ！」よりは場所取りは楽でした。
I won the admission of the viewing area of 4th show. I started to be in line soon after the 3rd show ended, and I could get 2nd row. It was easier than night time show "Oh! Summer Banzai!"

では、ストーリーに入っていきましょう。ジュディとニックは、夏の暑さから街の人たちを守るために、ジャンピン・スプラッシュ作戦を決行するというお話。右手からジュディ、左手からニックが登場すると、、水しぶきがどんどん上がります。
Then let us go to its story. Judy and Nick are planning "Jumping' Splash operation" to save citizens from hot weather. Judy came out from right side, and Nick from left side. Big splash also came out.
もちろん中央鑑賞エリアの中は水びたし。ジュディとニック、ダンサーのお姉さんたちと一緒に、ずぶ濡れで盛り上がります。
So much water inside the viewing area! Judy, Nick and many dancers, also guests got heavy wet.
しまいには、消防署から借りてきたホースも持ち出してきて。。。ついつい、やめてーと叫びたくなるような水の量でした。顔に当たったら最後、化粧ダダ落ちです。
Finally, some dancers brought hoses from fire station...big splash! It was too heavy for me!!
公演時間10分って短いなと思っていましたが、これだけの水の量であれば、ちょうどよい気もしました。暑い日のクールダウンにはもってこいです。
I had thought 10 minutes was too short before the show started, however it seemed good enough because guests could get wet too much. This show is so good for cooling down in the hot summer day.
繰り返しになりますが、中央鑑賞エリア内、場所によってはとっても濡れます。レインコート、ビーチサンダル、荷物を入れるビニール袋の準備をお勧めします。カメラには防水カバーを忘れずに！私はこれを使っています。
I highly recommend to prepare rain coat, beach sandals, and plastic bags for you belongings. Please also prepare water proof cover for your camera.

[今日のランチ / Today's Lunch]
グランマ・サラのキッチンで、季節のおすすめセットをいただきました。鶏そぼろと海老の冷やしうどん、いなり寿司、オレンジゼリー＆ヨーグルトムースとドリンクで1580円。うどんにかかっているピリ辛のラー油がいいかんじ。サラおばあちゃんが和食を始めたと話題になってましたが、いきなりレベル高いお料理でした。
I had the season's special set at Grandma Sara's Kitchen. 1580 yen for chicken and shrimp udon noodle, Inari-zushi, dessert and drink. Cold udon noodle was a bit spicy, so good. This is the first Japanese style menu by Grandma Sara, but it was very high level.
