アウラニと言ったら、やっぱりディズニーのキャラクターたちとのグリーティング。私もとっても楽しみにしていました。
Greeting with Disney Character is big fun at Aulani. I looked forward to seeing them so much.
キャラクターたちと会うには3つ方法があります。まずはキャラクターダイニング。マカヒキというブッフェレストランで行われています。朝食と夕食、両方行ってみましたので、詳しくは別の記事でご紹介しますね。There are 3 ways to meet Disney Characters at Aulani. First one is Character Dining at Makahiki, a buffet restaurant. Every morning and selected evening. I tried both, I will write about my experience later.
2つめは夜のグリーティング。火曜日と金曜日の8:00pmから実施されています。（変更もありうるので、当日のスケジュールを確認くださいね。）どのキャラクターが来るかは行ってみてのお楽しみ。DVC（ディズニーバケーションクラブ）のメンバー向けには、これに加えて7:00pmの回も用意されていました。
The second is, Evening Greeting session. It starts at 8:00pm on Tuesday and Friday. (Schedule may change. Please check daily schedule.) Guests cannot know who will come in advance. For DVC (Disney Vacation Club) members, there was additional session at 7:00pm when I was there.
3つめは、リゾート内の様々なところで行われているグリーティング。トゥーンファインダーという番号に客室の電話からかけると、その日のグリーティングのスケジュールを教えてもらうことができます。英語版は8:00amから、日本語版は9:00amからのスタートです。ちなみに英語版の方では「これ以外の時間にもお散歩してるかもしれないから、ハラヴァイ・ローンに注目してね」と言っていたので、スケジュールされている時間以外にも会えるチャンスがあるのかもしれません。
The third way is Meet and Greet in the resort property. Guests can know the schedule by ToonFinder, an information dial. English line starts at 8:00am and Japanese line at 9:00am. In addition, English line said that some Disney Characters might walk through around Halawai Lawn, so guests may have another chance rather than scheduled greeting.
私の滞在中のスケジュールはこんな感じでした。英語版のトゥーンファインダーでだけ、ハロウィーンの衣装かどうかを話していましたので、がんばって英語版も聞いてみたほうがよさそうです。ミッキーとミニーは朝はマカヒキのキャラクターブレックファーストにいるせいか昼過ぎからしか登場はなく、ほかのキャラクターも午後に集中していました。到着日でも大半のグリーティングには間に合うのはうれしいですね。私の場合、午前中はプールで遊び、お昼からグリーティング、というのが毎日の行動パターンになりました。
These are the schedule during my stay. I could know they were in Halloween outfits or not, only by English line. I recommend to use English line if you are not good at English. As Mickey an Minnie were at Makahiki for Character breakfast every morning, their greeting started around noon. Almost all greeting sessions heppend in the afternoon as well. So, I enjoyed pool in the morning, and enjoyed greetings in the afternoon.
