こんばんは、ねこたろうです。おうちに帰ってきました～。時差ぼけもあって少し眠いですが、さっそくブログを書いていきたいと思います。今回は、空港やホテル間の移動とアウラニのお部屋についてのお話です。
Hi I had arrived my home from my trip to Hawaii. I have jet lag a bit but I would like to start reporting. Today's story is about hotel room and grand transportation.
準備編でも書いた通り、空港への行き来は、ロバーツハワイのエアポートエクスプレスシャトルを利用しました。ホノルル空港へ到着後、黄色いアロハシャツの係員さんのところにむかって、シャトルのチェックインをします。すでに代金を支払っていることと、行き先がコオリナであることを伝えると、15分くらい待ってねとのこと。でも、実際のところトイレから帰ってきてすぐにシャトルに案内されたので、5分くらいの待ち時間で済みました。今回乗っていたのは私を入れて3人だけ。空港からアウラニまでは、25分くらいで何事もなく到着しました。ワイキキのホテルから空港へ向かうときには、ホテルの前で待ち合わせし、その後何か所かワイキキ内のホテルを回った後に空港に向かう行程でした。こちらも特に問題はなく、スムーズでした。ひとり旅ならエクスプレスシャトルがお安く済みますね。
As I wrote in previous blog, I reserved Roberts Hawaii 's Airport express shuttle. Soon after I arrived Honolulu airport, I asked a staff with yellow Aloha shirt to check in. As I told that I already made reservation and my destination was Ko olina resort, the staff told me to wait for 15 minutes. But it was only 5 minutes finally. The ride from Honolulu airport to Aulani was only 25 minutes. It was smooth. As for returning trip to the airport, I met driver in front of the hotel. The car went around some hotels to pick up other guests and came to airport in safety. I think Airport express shuttle is good for solo traveler.
アウラニからワイキキへは、タクシーで移動しました。特に予約はせずに、チェックアウト後、ホテルのタクシー乗り場に来ていたものに乗車しました。アウラニのお兄さんに「マタ、来週ネ」と見送られ、、、来週も来れたらいいのに！と強く思いました。どうやらチャーリーズタクシーと提携しているみたいで、何台か待っていたタクシーもすべてチャーリーズタクシーのものでした。こちらも全く問題なく、45分くらいで到着、料金はチップを含めて111.83 USDでした。クレジットカードでお会計したので、自分で計算をしなくても、チップを何%にしたいか選択するだけでした。これはらくちん。
From Aulani to Waikiki, I used a taxi. No reservation, I just went to the entrance. A cast members of Aulani said to me "See you next week" :) I really wanted to do so but I left... I think Aulani have partnership with Charley's Taxi, because other cars were also from Charley's. It was nice and smooth ride, 111.83 USD including tips.
さて、アウラニのお部屋の話。正式なチェックインは3:00pmですが、ラッキーなことに到着してすぐにお部屋に入ることができました。カテゴリはプールサイドガーデンビューということで、ベランダに出ると、レストランのマカヒキと、プールが見えるお部屋でした。窓を開けておくと、朝はマカヒキの音楽が聞こえてきたり、子供がはしゃぐ声が聞こえてきたり、なんとも幸せなお部屋でした。5階なので海はほんのりと見えるだけです。もう少し上のフロアだと、もう少しお高いカテゴリ、例えばオーシャンビューになったりするのかもしれません。
Then let's start about my room at Aulani. Official check in time is 3:00pm but I could start to use the room when I arrive luckily. As its category was Pool side garden view, I could see Makahiki restaurant and pool from veranda. While window was open, I could hear some song from Makahiki in the morning, and children's voice in the pool. It was happy time. It was on 5th floor, sea can be seen a bit. I think if it is more higher floor, it might be more expensive category, such as Ocean view.
客室のアメニティーは、冷蔵庫、コーヒーメーカー、アイロン、セキュリティーボックス、スリッパや歯ブラシもあり。バスローブはふわふわ、バスタブもついていたので、お風呂好きにはうれしいところです。でも、湯沸かしポットや無料のお水はありませんでした。Wi-fiは客室も含めてホテル内ほとんどで通じますが、夜はちょっと速度が出てない感じだったので、レンタルしたWi-fiを利用していました。そうそう、ミッキーネットからの贈り物のチョコレートストロベリーはこんな立派なものでした。ごちそうさまでした！
In room amenity was good enough. Refrigerator, coffee maker, iron, security box, slipper and tooth brush. Fluffy bathrobe and bathtub were good combination for those who love taking baths. No electric kettle, no drinking water in the room. Wi-fi connection was available across the resort, but it was weak at night. As for the complimentary gift from Mickey Net, a travel agency I used, I got beautiful dish of strawberry chocolate. Thank you so much:)
