こんにちは、ねこたろうです。いまちょうどホノルルの空港で帰国便の出発を待っているところです。アウラニ、とっても楽しかった！さっそくアウラニについて書いていきたいところなんですが、ワイキキのホテルでのストライキがひどかったので、そのお話から書いていきます。
Hi, I am now at Honolulu airport and waiting for my flight to my home:) Aulani stay was really really good, and I want to tell my Aulani story! However I would like to write about Strike at some hotels at Waikiki for those who need information.
ストライキをしているのは以下の5つのホテルの従業員の方たち。10月8日から始まって、10月21日になってもまだ続いています。
Employees of following 5 hotels are on strike. It started on Oct-8th, and still hold on Oct-21st.
・モアナサーフライダー・ウェスティン・リゾート&スパ / Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa
・マイラニ・タワー・アット・ザ・ロイヤル・ハワイアン・ア・ラグジュアリー・コレクション・リゾート・ワイキキ / Mailani Tower The Royal Hawaiian Waikiki, The Luxury Collection
・ロイヤル・ハワイアン・ラグジュアリー・コレクション・リゾート・ワイキキ / Royal Hawaiian Waikiki, The Luxury Collection
・シェラトン・ワイキキ / Sheraton Waikiki
・シェラトン・プリンセス・カイウラニ / Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
私はこれらのホテルには泊まっていなかったのですが、もう騒音がひどかった！朝から晩まで、何かを叫びながら、太鼓や何か金属のもの（お鍋？）をたたいて、ホテルの入り口の前をぐるぐると歩いていました。
I didn't stay at these hotels but the noise of strike was terrible. From the morning to the night, they were screaming, hitting drums and metallic objects (I think kind of pots), and walking around the entrance of hotel.
大好きなモアナサーフライダーのビーチバーもクローズ中。フロントには新しいタオルが入っているカートと、使い終わったタオル用のカートが置いてあり、、、これ、自分で取り換えろってことですよね。
Lovely "The beach bar" at Moana Surfrider was closed. On the front level there were carts with new towels and used towels, it means guests need to change towels by themselves.
ロイヤル・ハワイアンのマイタイバーもクローズ中。入り口にも誰もいない・・・なんてさみしいんだ。
"Mai Tai bar" at Royal Hawaiian was also closed. No staffs at the entrance. So sad.
これらのホテルではお部屋の掃除なども止まっているそうです。ワイキキでの楽しみを奪われちゃった感じで、とっても残念でした。
These hotels also stop housekeeping service. I was really dissapointed because I lost one of my plesure at Waikiki:(
