カリフォルニアから帰ってきました！これから年末年始にかけて旅行される方もいらっしゃるでしょうから、先に、事前準備が上手くいったかと、旅行のTIPSをレポートします。
Returned from California. I would like to start my reports from travel tips and result of my preparations first, for someone who will go to California Disney during holiday season.
ホテル : トロピカーナイン&スイーツ
ディズニーランドの東側にある、いわゆるアメリカっぽいモーテルです。同じようなホテルが周辺にたくさんありました。ホテル入り口を出て少しだけ歩くと横断歩道があり、その先がディズニーのエリアに入るゲートでした。そこからパークゲートまでは10分くらい歩いたかな。同じように東側のモーテルとパークの間を歩く人はたくさんいて、安心でした。ホテルのお部屋は広くはないけど、かえって寝るだけだから十分ですね。コーヒーメーカー、コーヒーと紙コップ、冷蔵庫、電子レンジがありました。ホテルのロビーの向かいには小さいお店があり、ちょっとした食料品はここで買えます。私たちは、お水と（2本で2.5ドルだから、パークの中の半額以下です）、朝ごはん用のシリアルと牛乳をここで調達しました。
Hotel : Tropicana Inn and Suites
This is one of motels located East side of Disneyland. There is pedestrian crossing near by it, and from there on, there is the gate for Disney Resort area. I think it took 10min. from the resort gate to the park gates by walk. Many people walked between motels and the Park, so I feel safe. The room was not big but enough to sleep. There were coffee maker, coffee, paper cups, refrigerator and microwave. We could buy foods at the mini shop located in front of lobby. We bought water (2.5 USD for 2 bottles, it was lower than half the one we bought in the Parks), cereals and milk.
空港とホテルの移動 : スーパーシャトル
これも正解。使ってよかったです。空港の到着ロビーを出るとすぐに受付があり、名前を言ったらすぐにシャトルに乗せてもらえました。帰りのシャトルも時間通りのお迎え。ちなみに、空港に着く直前に、出発階への道は混んでて時間がかかるから、到着階に車をつけてもいいかな？と聞かれました。実際に出発階行きの道路は混んでたし、ちゃんと出発ロビーへのエレベーターの場所も教えてくれたし、なかなかサービスが良いなと思いました。
Ground Transportation between hotel and airport : Super Shuttle
This was also good. When I went out from airport arrival lobby, I could find counter easily. I could get shuttle as soon as I said my name. Returning shuttle came on time. Before the shuttle got to airport, the driver confirmed that he would get to arrival level because the traffic around departure level was bad. Actually the way to departure level was crowded, and he told me how to get to arrival level. I feel this was good service.
スマホアプリ
ものすごく便利！アトラクションの待ち時間を見たり、ショーの時間を探したり、あと意外にトイレの場所探しにも使いました。ひとり1日10ドルでマックスパス（MaxPass）という機能を使えるんですが、これがあるとファストパスがこのアプリから取れたり、フォトパスカメラマンに撮ってもらった写真や、アトラクション乗車中の写真（たとえば、スプラッシュマウンテンでキャーって言ってるところの写真）もダウンロードし放題になるのです。かなり使い倒しました。1日ごとにマックスパスを使うかどうか決められるというのもよかったです。私たちの場合は1日目と4日目は、ほとんどアトラクションには乗らないつもりだったので、私の分だけ、写真のダウンロードをする目的で購入し、アトラクションにがんがん乗った2日目、3日目はふたり分購入して、ファストパスの機能も使いました。
Apps
This was very efficient tool! We used it to check wait time and entertainment. And it is also useful to find restrooms. MaxPass function can be added 10 USD per day per person. We could take FastPass from Apps with MaxPass, and could download all pictures taken by PhotoPass camera person in Attraction (e.g. while screaming in Splash Mountain) It is also good that we could buy MaxPass day by day. In our case, we added only one MaxPass for Day 1 and 4, for downloading pictures purpose. And for Day 2 and 3, as we planned to enjoy Attractions mainly, we add 2 MaxPass for using FastPass function purpose.
TIPS
・ホテルから10分くらいのところに、CVSとWalgreensというドラッグストアがあります。Yちゃんがサプリメントを買いたいと言うので行ってみました。大袋入りのチョコレートなんかもあったので、お土産探しにも良いかもです。この交差点にはセブンイレブンもあります。
There are 2 drug stores, CVS and Walgreens, 10 min. walk from our hotel. We went there because Y-chan wanted to buy supplements. There also were big packages of chocolates in the drugstores. I think it's better for buying souvenirs as well. There was Seven-Eleven at the same crossing.
There was Seven-Eleven shop at arrival lobby of Tom Bradley International Terminal, LAX airport. The variety of offerings was better than the shop at the hotel. I might buy my breakfast at Seven-Eleven next time.
・とにかく空気が乾燥していてしんどかったです。次回ものど飴とハンドクリームは必携かな。持っていったのはロクシタンのかわいい香りのハンドクリームだったんですが、これでは物足りなったので、薬用のやつにしようと思います。あと、サングラスも忘れずに。昼と夜の寒暖差が激しかったので、ユニクロのウルトラライトダウンが活躍しました。
The weather was too dry for me. I should bring cough drops and hand cream. I brought my cute L'OCCITANE's hand cream, but I felt something was missing with it. I will bring medical hand cream instead. Sun grasses is a Must Have. UNIQLO's Ultra Light Down jacket was so useful because the temperature difference was quite extreme between day and night.
