こんばんは、ねこたろうです。東京ディズニーランドでの2018-2019の年越しカウントダウン、ニューイヤーズ・イヴの体験レポート第2弾です。今回の記事では、当日、時系列に沿って私たちがどう過ごしたのかをご紹介します。
This is our experience report of "New Year's Eve", a count down party at Tokyo Disneyland. I would like to report along the axis of time.

12月26日～31日の「Today」が欲しくて、ディズニーランド、ディズニーシーの両方に行ってました。すでにお正月飾りはばっちりだったので、先に写真撮影。元旦は人が多くて写真を撮るのも大変そうでしたが、このときは待ち時間はそこそこ。先に撮っておいてよかったです。パークゲートには、ニューイヤーズ・イヴの入園待ち列ができてました。みなさん寒そう・・・。
I visited both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea to get "Today"(Show Schedule Guide). There already were New Year holidays decoration in the parks. I took pictures of them. On looking back, it was the best timing to take pictures of decorations because so crowded around the entrance on Jan-1. Some guests already started to wait the opening of New Year's Eve party. They looked so cold...

ホテルにチェックイン。この後、寒い中歩き回って体力を使うことになると思い、のんびりお昼寝。
We checked-in at the hotel, and took a nap to keep our energy.

ディズニーランドの前に到着。ニューイヤーズ・イヴの特別営業は、8:00pmからだったはずですが、もう入園できました。後からアプリで見てみたところ、ディズニーランドは7:00pmからすでに開園していたみたいです。それが分かってたらもうちょっと早くホテルを出発してたなぁ、なんて。ワールドバザールでは、キャストのみなさんのお出迎えがあり、テンションがガガンと上がりました。だって、キャストの方々も楽しそうなんですもん。
We arrived at Disneyland Park gate. According to official announcement, New Year's Eve party started at 8:00pm, but we could enter the park at this time. It seemed to open at 7:00pm based on my later investigation. Many cast members welcome us at World Bazzar. They looked so happy, then I became happy as well.
アプリで待ち時間を検索してみたところ、なんとびっくりなことに、アトラクションがガラガラ！早くから入園待ちをしていた皆さんは、カウントダウンの花火「ニューデイ、ニュードリームス」を良い場所で見たいと、シンデレラ城の前で場所取りをしているみたいです。私たちは、ここぞとばかりに、普段は乗らないアトラクションを回ってみることにしました。最初にスプラッシュ・マウンテンのファストパスをとりつつ、プーさんのハニーハントへ。30分待ちの表示でしたが、実際は20分も待っていないかな。お次はイッツ・ア・スモールワールド、10分待ち。ホーンテッドマンション、20分待ち。
I found the waiting time of each attractions were incredibly short. I thought guests who waited super early were in front of Cinderella Castle to watch "New Day, New Dreams", a new year's fireworks show. So we tried to round attractions while calm. First, we got FastPass ticket of Splash Mountain, then went to Pooh's Hunny Hunt. The sign said 30 minutes wait, but actual waiting time was less than 20 minutes. Next was "it's a small world", 10 minutes waiting and Haunted Mansion, 20 minutes waiting.

9:10pmからエレクトリカルパレード・ドリームライツが始まりますが、パレードルートで待っている人もいつもより少なめ。2列目くらいから立ち見になってました。私たちはパレードは見ず、ファストパスを持ってスプラッシュマウンテンへ。滝つぼめがけてくだる時に、ちょうど先頭のブルーフェアリーのフロートが見えました。
Even though Electrical Parade, Dream Lights would start at 9:10pm, people waiting for it were fewer than usual. We went to Splash Mountain with FastPass ticket, and could see the first Blue Fairy's float of Electrical Parade from the top of waterfall.

さすがにおなかが空いたので、ハングリーベア・レストランで夕食。まだパレード中ということもあるのか、本当にガラガラ。注文カウンターも待ち時間なしでした。キャストの方々も暇そう（笑）。私たちは浮かれて、このあとれすとらん北斎が待っているというのに、食べすぎてしまいました。ちなみに、メニューは、スーベニアカップのついたデザート以外は、通常通りでした。
We had curry at Hungry Bear Restaurant. There are very few guests there, we didn't wait for casher. Cast members He seemed to have quite a lot of free time:P No special menu served except souvenir cup dessert.

そろそろさすがに、カウントダウンの場所取りをしないと、、、ということで、シンデレラ城の前に移動。なんと、こんな目の前の良い場所がまだご案内中でした。とってもラッキー！ここからはMちゃんと交代でお出かけしながらカウントダウンまで待機です。キャストの方々からは、11:15pmを過ぎると周りの通路の通行規制がかかるので、それまでに戻ってきてねとのご案内がありました。
We moved to Castle Forecourt Plaza to start waiting for the count down show. Luckily we could find really good place in front of the Cinderella Castle. We were fortunate:) We went out of viewing area turn and turn about until the show. Cast members said we had to return there by 11:15pm because traffic restriction around the castle would start at the time.
そろそろみなさんも場所取りを始めているのでしょうか、どんどんガラガラ度が上がっている気がします。いつも並んでいるポップコーンワゴンの列には数人だけ。こんなに列が短いのなんて、今後いつめぐり合うか分からない！と、うっかりミルクチョコレートポップコーンを買ってしまうわたし。おいしかったからまあいいか。Mちゃんは、ワールドバザールの中のお土産やさん、グランドエンポーリアムとコンフェクショナリーに行ったそうですが、ここもほとんどゲストがおらず、選び放題だったそうです。
I thought almost all guests were waiting for the count down, because the line was really short for popcorn. I wouldn't go as far as to buy it myself usually, but I tried Milk chocolate popcorn. Yummy:) My friend M-chan went to Grand Emporium and World Bazaar Confectionery (These are shops at World Bazaar), it was so calm to enjoy shopping.

ふたりでそろって、カウントダウンを待ちます。入園時にもらった、ケミカルライトをポキっと折って、準備万端です。
We were ready for count down with chemical light sticks we got when we entered the Park.

カウントダウンの花火「ニューデイ、ニュードリームス」がスタート。はじめはみんなで蛍の光を歌い、20からカウントダウン。2019年になったと同時に大きな花火が上がりました！ディズニー音楽とぴったり合った花火。すばらしい！
"New Day, New Dreams", a new year's fireworks show started. We all guests sung "Auld Lang Syne" and started count down from 20. When it became 2019, big fireworks went off! Amazing fireworks with Disney music.

花火が終わり、ゲストのみなさんはそれぞれアトラクションやレストランに向かっているようです。私たちはれすとらん北斎へ。昨年まではお正月の特別メニューがあったと聞いて、予約をしておいたわけですが、今年はないそうで・・・。とっても残念。おせち料理食べたかったな。
After the fireworks, every guests went to attractions or restaurants. We also walked to Restaurant Hokusai. We had heard that there was New Year's special menu last year (this is why we made reservation of this restaurant), but not this year. So sad.

おなかいっぱいで眠くなってきました。最後に少しだけお買い物。グランドエンポーリアムは、先ほどよりもにぎわっているものの、快適にお買い物できました。レジにいたキャストの方と、花火がすばらしかった！と話したり。このくらいの余裕が普段から欲しいですね。
We were full and sleepy. Before back to hotel, we enjoyed shopping again. As Grand Emporium had still enough space, I could buy souvenirs cozily, and could talk with casher cast, how fireworks were great.

一旦パークを後にして、ホテルに戻りました。ゲートの外には、一般営業の入園待ちの方がたくさんいました。
We moved back to hotel. Outside of park gate, many people were waiting for the opening for normal ticket.

ホテルをチェックアウトして、再度ディズニーランドに入園。よく寝たし、私たちは元気いっぱい！昨夜からいると思わしき、辛そうな方々もところどころいましたが、ごくごく少数のようでした。ニューイヤーズ・イヴの特別営業時間とは全く異なり、園内はとってもにぎやかで、アトラクションの待ち時間も総じて長く、パレードルートにも人がたくさん。本当に、あの時間帯は特別だったんだなぁと改めて思っちゃいました。
We again arrived Tokyo Disneyland. We were full of vitality as I had good sleep. Some guests, stayed all night, looked tired but only a few people. It was so much crowded in the Park, while calm during New Year's Eve party. Long queue for attractions, many guests along the parade route.

クリスタルパレスレストランでランチ。こちらもお正月の特別メニューはなし。おせち料理食べたかったな。
We had lunch at Crystal Palace Restaurant. There was not special menu:(

昼のパレード、ドリーミング・アップ！を遠目に鑑賞。パレードが去ったあとから、お正月のごあいさつのパレード、ニューイヤーズ・グリーティングのための場所取り。
We watched "Dreaming Up!", a daytime parade. Soon after the parade, we stayed at parade route, and waited for "New Year's Greeting" parade.

ニューイヤーズ・グリーティングを鑑賞。こちらのブログでも書きましたが、ミニーのお着物がとってもかわいかったです。

せっかく両方のパークに入れるんだし、、、ということで、ディズニーシーに移動。ビッグバンドビートの抽選にはずれ、2階席に並ぼうと思ったら、6:40の回はすでにラインカットしてました。早い！
We moved to Tokyo DisneySea to enjoy privileges of New Year's Eve Passport. But, we lose the lottery of "Big Band Beat" viewing, and could not catch the seats.

アトラクションの待ち時間は長いし、園内は混んでいるし、おなかもすいていないし、ここで私たちはパークを出て、おうちに帰りました。
We went out of DisneySea, because it was crowded.
書き出してみると、本当に長い1日でしたね。
It was actually long day for us.
