こんばんは、ねこたろうです。今日は、先週の香港ディズニーランドの旅で泊った、ディズニー・エクスプローラーズ・ロッジについてご紹介していきます。こちらのホテルは昨年オープンしたばかりの新しいホテルで、その名前の通り、探検家の仲間たちと過ごせるホテルです。
Hi, I would like to write about Disney Explorers Lodge, the hotel I stayed last week. It is the latest hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland resort, opened last year. Guests can stay with fellow explorers in exotic atmosphere.
探検家らしく、入り口にはジープが。ロビーには、つり橋のような渡り廊下があったりして、雰囲気が出ています。
There was a jeep car at the entrance. There was connecting corridor at the lobby, and it was like a suspension bridge.
ロビーのソファーはスーツケースの形。ミッキー、ミニー、ドナルド、グーフィーのスーツケースも飾ってあります。ミッキーのスーツケースの中にはダッフィーが入ってましたよ。ミニーが作ってくれたんですものね。そうそう、私の滞在中、チェックインの時間くらいに、グーフィーがグリーティングをしていました。もちろん探検家のようなお洋服を着ています。
Sofas were like suitcases. There were suitcases of Disney characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Duffy, made by Minnie, was in Mickey's suitcase. By the way, I met Goofy at around check-in time at the lobby. He was with explorer's outfit.
客室とお庭は、アジア・オセアニア・アフリカ・南米、の4つのエリアに分かれていて、それぞれのテーマにあわせた装飾品が飾ってありました。バリの影絵みたいなミッキーもいたりして。
Guest rooms and gardens were divided into 4 areas, Asia, Oceania, South America and Africa. There were many ornaments along with theme of each areas. I saw pictures of Mickey like a shadow play in Bali.
もちろん、ディズニーグッズを扱うお店もあります。営業時間は9:00amから11:00pmまででした。パークと同じ商品だけでなく、ホテルオリジナルのものもありましたよ。かさばるおみやげはここで買うのが良いかも。缶入りお菓子の種類が多いのがうれしいですね。
Of course, Disney goods shop was available. Operation hour is from 9:00am to 11:00pm. Not only products the same as at the park, but also hotel original products there. I think it's better to buy bulky souvenirs here.
ここからは客室の写真です。ちょうど春のイベントの最中だったので、アメニティーがイースターの絵柄のものでした。かわいい缶の中に、歯ブラシなどが入っています。ベッドの横にはタオルで作ったうさぎ。お部屋の扉（廊下側）にも、かわいい飾りがありました。到着してすぐにテンションあがっちゃいました。冷蔵庫、ポット、マグカップ、コーヒー紅茶、1.5Lペットボトルのお水が置いてありました。
I would like to share pictures of guest room as well. As it was spring time event period, amenities were Easter themed. tooth brushes and other amenities were inside cute can. At the bed side, I found rabbit shaped towel. I also found so cute ornament on the door (outside of the room). I was really excited when I found these items :P Reregister, electric cattle, mug cups, coffee and tea, and bottled water (1.5L bottle) were in the room.
チェックインのときにもらえる冊子には、ホテルの中でのアクティビティーのスケジュールが載っています。短い滞在だとなかなか参加は難しいでしょうけど、お子さんがいる方であれば、プールで泳いだり、ホテルのアクティビティーに参加したりする日があってもよいかもです。エクスプローラーズ・プールサイド・アドベンチャーに参加してみましたが、お子さん向けかな。最後にキャラクターとグリーティングができるので、大人の方は終わるころあいを見計らって、グリーティングだけおじゃまさせてもらいましょう。私が参加したときはグーフィーでした。ホントはドナルドが良かったんだけどなぁ。。プールがクローズ中のため、ロビーで実施されていました。
when checked in, I got a booklet hotel's activities' schedule inside. It is difficult to join these activities if your stay is short. However I think it is good for children to enjoy pool and activities at the hotel. I joined Explorers Poolside Adventure. It happened at the lobby as the pool was closed on the day. It was for children I think. In the end of it, I could meet Goofy. I recommend to join only greeting session if you are grown-up.
