さて、週末の香港ディズニーランドの旅行記を書いていくといたしましょう。今回、一番楽しみにしていたのはキャラクターたちとのグリーティングでした。前回も「グリーティングパラダイス！」と興奮気味に書いてましたが、今回は、CARNIVAL OF STARSという春のイベント中で、春らしいコスチュームを着たキャラクターたちに会えるということなのです。
Let me start to write my travel log of Hong Kong Disneyland. What I looked forward to was the greeting session with characters with spring outfits. As I wrote in previous blog, Hong Kong Disneyland is "Greeting Paradise".

そして期待通り、春のコスチュームを着たミッキー、ミニー、プルート、グーフィー、ドナルド、デイジー、チップ、デールとグリーティングすることができました～。パステルカラーの衣装がとってもかわいらしい！これは香港まで来たかいがありますね。プルートとグーフィー、ドナルドとデイジーはペアでいるときと、単体でいるときがあったので、ご参考までです。私の大好きなメリーポピンズとバートもお見かけしました。バートが、こちらへおいで的に「Step in Time!」と言ってたのが個人的にはツボでした。（Step in Timeとは、メリーポピンズの映画の中で出てくる曲なのです。古いけどいい映画なので、一度ぜひ見てみてください～。）
As I expected I could meet characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip and dale. Their pastel-colored outfits were so cute! As for Pluto and Goofy, Donald and Daisy, sometimes they were with each other and sometimes alone, for your attention. I also met Marry Poppins and Bert!
Moana, Baymax and Hiro were also available for greeting session.
Other than them, I met Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale at Grizzly Gulch, R2-D2 at STAR WARS™: Command Post, Tomorrowland.
日本と違ってうれしいのは、写真1枚だけ撮っておわりではないというところ。ハグしたり、写真も何枚も撮影できたりと、とにかく濃い！今まであまりグリーティングは好きじゃないなと思ってた方も、一度チャレンジしてみるとはまっちゃうかもです。
The big difference between Hong Kong and Japan is deepness of session. In Japan guests can take only one picture but no limitation in Hong Kong. If you didn't have good experience in Japan, please try to queue up in Hong Kong once. You may be addicted to meet and greet with characters...
さて。日曜日と月曜日、両方インパークして観察してみた状況をマップとともにご紹介しつつ、もし、私がまた香港ディズニーランドに行くとしたらこうするな、、という攻略法を書いてみることにします。グリーティングのスケジュールは毎日異なり、公式のアプリを見るか、現地でキャストの方に聞くのが一番正確なので、単なる「参考情報」としてみていただければ幸いです。
By the way I would like to share my experience on last Sunday and Monday. And let me introduce my "hypothetical" plan if I were there again. Please be noted that the most accurate schedule can be obtained on Official Apps or from cast members, so please read my plan as reference information.
①ミッキー＆ミニー / Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse
いつでも長い列ができてました。日曜日、開園30分前からゲート前で待ち、オープンしてすぐに早歩きで向かったところ、何とかロープの内側に並ぶことはできたものの、それでも1時間以上待つことになりました。列はあっという間に延びていて、並び始めがあと3分遅かったら、ミッキーに会うまで2時間以上になっていたと思います。午後の開始はアプリによると2:00pmになっていましたが、1:00pmにはもう並び始めていました。とにかく大人気！私は次回も朝一番に並んじゃうと思います。
There was long waiting line always. On Sunday, I waited park opening 30 minutes before, and I walked fast to the line right after opening. I could be in line with rope, but it took over 1 hour to meet Mickey and Minnie. The line became long in the blink of an eye! If I had started to be in line 3 minutes later, then I had needed to wait for over 2 hours to meet them. According to Apps, afternoon greeting session was from 2:00pm, but there already was waiting line at 1:00pm. They are very much famous! I think I will go and queue up first for next time.
②チップ＆デール / Chip & Dale
日曜日も月曜日も、オープンすぐにグリーティングが始まってました。まーでも、ミッキーに先に行っちゃうよね。
Greeting session started at park opening time both on Sunday and Monday. But most of guests were going to Mickey first, so I did.
③ドナルド＆デイジー / Donald Duck & Daisy Duck
日曜日はオープンしてすぐにグリーティングできましたが、月曜日は会える時間が限られてました。開始時間にはラインカットされてしまっていたので、早く並び始めることをおすすめします。
Greeting session started at park opening time on Sunday, but the time slot was limited on Monday. Right after the session start, the waiting queue was closed. I highly recommend to start to queue up before the session start time.
ふたりでいるときと、そうでないときがありました。
Sometimes they were together with two of them, and sometimes not.
⑤ベイマックス＆ヒロ / Baymax & Hiro
グリーティングできる時間がとても限られていたので、スケジュールを確認して早く並び始めることをおすすめします。月曜日にアプリを見たときは、1日4回、各20分間しかありませんでした。
The time slot was limited. I highly recommend to check the schedule and queue up early. When I saw the schedule on Monday, there only were 4 sessions on the day, and only 20 minutes each.
⑥ダッフィーとなかまたち / Duffy and Friends
私が中を覗き込んだときには、ダッフィーとステラルーがいました。どちらも春のコスチュームがかわいかったです。ここもあっというまにラインカットされていたのでご注意です。今回は時間がなかったけど、次回はぜひ会いたいな。
When I saw the room there were Duffy and Stella Lou inside. They were with cute spring-themed outfits. The waiting queue was closed in the blink of an eye!
入り口の電光掲示板に、今誰がグリーティング中なのか書いてありました。私が行ったときは誰も待っていなかったので、R2-D2が廊下まで迎えに来て、何かしゃべってました。何言ってるかぜんぜんわかんなかったですが、かわいい！
I could check who was in the greeting session on the billboard at entrance. When I visited there no one was waiting, so R2-D2 pick me up at corridor and said something (I couldn't understand what he said, but...) So cute!
⑧モアナ / Moana
グリーティングできる時間がとても限られていたので、スケジュールを確認することをおすすめします。
The time slot was limited. I recommend to check the schedule beforehand.
⑨ミニー、チップ、デール / Minnie Mouse, Chip & Dale
ここはアプリでは時間が確認できないのです。ロープで列を作る準備をしていたキャストの方に尋ねると、詳しい時間と誰が来るかを教えてくれました。私はミッキーとは会えなかったんですが、他の方の写真を見ると来るみたいですね。私が聞いたときも、「ミッキーは今日は来ない」と言っていたので、来るときもあるんでしょうね。もうちょっとここに時間を割けばよかったです。次回はぜひ会いたい！
No schedule information on Apps.... When I asked a cast member who was preparing, she could tell me when and who would come. I couldn't meet Mickey Mouse during my stay but he might come. Because when I asked, a cast member said "No Mickey session for ""today"".
やっぱりグリーティングが楽しかった香港ディズニーランド。うーんこれは、ハロウィーンのコスチュームの頃に、また行きたくなっちゃうかも・・・。
Just as I thought, I very much enjoyed meet & greet with Disney characters in Hong Kong Disneyland. I might want to go there during Halloween event to meet them with Halloween special outfits....
