年末のWDW旅行、3日目、12月31日の午後のお話です。夜はショーがメインになるので、ここでファストパス・プラスで予約をしておいたアトラクションを回ります。まずは、ロックン・ローラー・コースター。エアロスミスがまだ若い～笑。近くのトイレの看板も、ロックンロールでした。
Our trip to WDW, Day 3, on Dec-31. As our plan of the night was mainly show viewing, we visited attractions at this time. First, Rock'n'Roller Coaster. Members of Aerosmith looked young in the attraction:) Sign board of restroom near Rock'n'Roller Coaster was also Rock'n'Roll.
それから、トワイライト・ゾーン・タワー・オブ・テラー。グッズもいろいろかわいいものがありました。タワー・オブ・テラーを出たところで、カウントダウンに向けて、帽子とホイッスルを配ってました。気分が盛り上がってきましたよー。
Then The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. There were cute goods in the shop. When we moved out from it, we got hats and whistles for the Count Down event. We were exited.
そしてそして、次はファンタズミック！です。私が個人的に一番楽しみにしていたショーです。Mちゃんにはちょっとわがままを言わせていただいて、良い席で見るために早めにシアターに向かいました。ダイニングパッケージ向けの席はど真ん中、ミッキーのサインのあたりです。シアターには光る器に入ったドリンクや、ホットドックやポップコーンなど、おやつがたくさん！私も小腹が減ったので、ホットドックと、ミッキーの形のストローが付いたレモネードで腹ごしらえです。
Next was Fantasmic! This was my favorite show, and I was looking forward to seeing it very much. We went to the theater early to get good seats. Seats for Dining Package was center area, near Mickey's sign board. There were many food wagon in the theater, such as drinks with glowing glasses, hot dogs, pop corn etc. I had a hot dog and a glass of lemonade with Mickey shaped straw.
ショーが始まる前には、自然にウェーブが起きたりして。もうわくわく感、はんぱないです。
Before the show, guests made big "wave". I was very much excited!
ストーリー自体は、日本のものと同じですが、専用シアターなだけあって、火薬の量がすごい！迫力のある演出でした。
The story itself was the same as Japan, but the level of explosion was totally different. It was extremely powerful stage.
最後の1分間くらいは、なんだか感動してうるうるしてしまいました。
I was really impressed with teary-eyes.
8:00pmからはセンターステージに移動して、ジングルベル・ジングルバン！を鑑賞。プロジェクションマッピングとレーザーや花火のショーでした。
We moved to Center Stage, and enjoyed Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! from 8:00pm. It was a show with Projection mapping, laser and fireworks.
いよいよ本当のカウントダウンですが、ここでエプコットに移動！ハリウッドスタジオのカウントダウンはスターウォーズなので、あんまり興味がないというのと、エプコットの花火はすごいよ、とうわさに聞いたからです。船が出ていたので、船で移動です。
Then we moved to EPCOT to see Count Down celebration. Because the celebration at Hollywood Studios would be STAR WARS (actually we are not good at STAR WARS) and we heard that the fireworks at EPCOT was great. We moved by ship.
エプコットに着いたのは9:00pm過ぎ。ワールドショーケースの花火が見えるあたりは、最前列はもうすでに埋まっていました。日本館の前の鳥居あたりは良く見えそうだったけどもういっぱい。少し離れたところに場所を確保して、あとはのんびり、カウントダウンまで待つのみです。カウントダウンのショーは、まず、いつもの夜のショー、イルミネーションズからスタート。そのあとに、新年を迎えた順に、その国のパビリオンから花火があがり、その国の言葉で新年の挨拶が流れました。日本が最初でした。最後はアメリカの番、みんなでカウントダウンをして、たくさんの花火とともにお祝いです。前にいた、どこかの国のご家族とも新年の挨拶をしたりして、明るくて平和な新しい年の始まりとなりました。
We got EPCOT past 9:00pm. Places where was good view for fireworks in World Showcase are were already crowded. We thought the best place was in front of Torii gate near Japan pavilion, but it was packed. We took our place and waited for the time. The Count Down celebration started from IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, a night time spectacular, then fireworks were set off from each pavilions in order from earlier time zone. Also There were new year's greetings in each countries' language. Japan was first. Finally the turn of us in USA time zone. We counted numbers, and had big celebration with plenty of fireworks. We had greetings with a family in front of us. It was happy and peaceful start of 2018.
そのままホテルに向かったわけですが、バスに乗れたのが2:00am・・・。本当に体力勝負です。。
We moved to our hotel but when we got the bus, it was already 2:00am. It was really trial of stamina...
