ガイドツアー「ヒストリー・オブ・東京ディズニーランド」@TDL / Guide Tour "History of Tokyo Disneyland"

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。この間の日曜日、東京ディズニーランドのガイドツアー、「ヒストリー・オブ・東京ディズニーランド」を体験してきました。このツアーは35周年のグランドフィナーレ期間限定の特別なツアー。35年間の歴史を振り返りながら、パーク内をめぐるというものです。
I enjoyed a guide tour "History of Tokyo Disneyland" on last Sunday. It is special tour during Grand Finale of 35th anniversary. Guests walk around Tokyo Disneyland and look back at the history of the park.

予約はオンライン予約・購入サイトから。本当に人気のようで、全然予約できなかったんですが、ある日突然ぽつんと空いているのを見つけてぽちっとしちゃいました。どなたかがキャンセルしたところに当たったようです。大人5800円と結構お高い。でも、大満足でした！もし空きを見つけたら、ぜひとも予約してみてください。
I booked it through online reservation site. It looked so much popular, I had not found vacancy, but suddenly I found one available slot, then I booked. It was 5800 yen. A bit expensive but so much fun.

ツアーのスタートはメインストリート・ハウス。ガイドさんの声が聞こえやすいようにイヤホンをお借りして、ツアースタートです。参加者は12人でした。東京ディズニーランドができる前、工事中の写真を見たり、オープニングセレモニーの映像を見たり。開園当初のマップを片手にパーク内を進んでいきます。
The tour started at Main Street House. Guide cast gave us earphone to hear her voice clearly. We were group of 12 guests. Guide cast showed some pictures, such as the park under construction, the opening ceremony. We walked through the park with old map.

ツアー中、アトラクションに乗る場面もありました。最初は35年前のオープン当初からあるアトラクションの一つ、蒸気船マークトウェイン号。本当に蒸気で動いていて、ボイラー技士さんが乗船しているんですって！それぞれのレバーの役割を教えてもらって、なんかちょっと興奮。意外と知らないことだらけだなぁ。乗船前にはおやつにチョコレートクランチもいただけます。
I had a chance to ride 2 attractions. One was Mark Twain Riverboat, one of oldest attraction which existed when Tokyo Disneyland opened. It runs by steam actually, and boiler expert's license holder was on board. He told us how to run the steamboat. I was excited :) Guide cast gave us chocolate crunch for snack before ride.

船を降りたらファンタジーランドに向かって歩きます。ガイドさんや同じグループの方々とおしゃべりしながら歩くパーク、ちょっと新鮮でした。10分くらいの休憩をはさんで、次のアトラクションはイッツ・ア・スモールワールド。出口のほうから入って乗船するという、なんだか特別な気分です。トゥモローランドでも、昔の写真を見せていただきました。そうそう、スカイウェイとかスタージェットとか、キャプテンEO（マイケルジャクソンが出ていたショートムービー！なつかしい！）とかミクロアドベンチャーとか、いろいろあったなー。ここからは次の新しいアトラクションの工事の様子が見えますし、「東京ディズニーランドは永遠に完成しない」というウォルトディズニーの言葉思い出します。本当にどんどん変化していってるんですね。最後はワールドバザール近くで、懐かしいショッピングバッグをいただいてツアー終了です。
After we left Mark Twain, the we moved to Fantasyland. It was new and rear experience for me to walk with a guide cast and other guests. We had 10 minutes break near Dumbo, and we tried it's a small world. We entered from "exit", wow! It was so special! Moved to Tomorrowland and we saw some old picture of Tomorrowland. I could see old attractions of Tomorrowland, such as Skyway, Star Jet, Captain EO (a short movie show of Michael Jackson!) and Micro Adventure. I miss those days. We can see the constructions of new attraction from Tomorrowland. I really realized Walt's word "Disneyland will never be completed".
It actually changes now and on. Finally we walked to World Bazzar. We got old design shopping bag. Then, it ended.

参加者全員がディズニーランドが好きということが伝わってきて、幸せな気分になれるツアーでした。たった2時間ですが、終わってしまうのが名残惜しくて、シンデレラ城が見える場所に移動してみんなで記念撮影もしました。ここには載せられないですが、みんな楽しそうにしている、とってもいい写真が撮れてました。ご一緒だったみなさん、ありがとうございました。
Every guests of the party loved Disneyland so much, so I felt happy during the tour. It was only 2 hours, but I felt sad to leave it. I think everyone felt the same. We took our group picture with the guide cast, with Cinderella Castle. I can't upload it but... it is great picture:) I appreciate everyone in the group.

[今日のランチ / Today's Lunch]
イーストサイド・カフェで東京ディズニーリゾート35周年のスペシャルコースにしました。前菜が生ハムのサラダ、ペスカトーレパスタとパン、デザートと飲み物がついて2480円です。パスタが熱々でおいしい！デザートのフロマージュブランムースとストロベリーセミフレッドは、ふわふわのわたあめにいちごのソースをかけていただきます。ごちそうさまでした。
I had Special Menu of 35th anniversary at East Side Cafe. The starter was salad with raw ham. Pescatore pasta, bread, dessert and drink, 2480 yen. The pasta was piping hot and good. The dessert was cheese mousse and strawberry ice cream with cotton candy, so cute.

ノエルのディズニーランド・パリ（ビストロ・シェ・レミー） / Christmas time at Disneyland Paris (Bistrot Chez Rémy)

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。今日はディズニーランド・パリでぜひ行ってみたかったレストラン、ビストロ・シェ・レミーのお話です。
Hi. I would like to write about "Bistrot Chez Rémy" where I loved to visit during Disneyland Paris trip.

公式サイトによると、このレストランはとっても人気があるので、予約がおすすめとのこと。確かに、当日お断りされているゲストもいて、事前に予約しておいてよかったです。
According to Official web site, Bistrot Chez Rémy is hugely popular so advance reservations are highly recommended. Indeed I saw some guests couldn't have seat.

レストランの名前の通り、ピクサーのアニメ、「レミーのおいしいレストラン」に出てくるレミーがシェフという設定で、すべてがねずみサイズ！自分が小さくなっちゃったように錯覚しちゃいます。パテーションはお皿、シャンパンのワイヤーキャップでできたイスや、カクテルにささっているみたいなパラソル。レミーやグストーの本もあります。客席の一部は、レミーのアトラクションを降りたところからも見えるようになっています。レストランで食事をしない場合は、そこから覗いてみてくださいね。
This restaurant is based on the Pixar animation movie "Ratatouille". Rémy, small rat and the leading role, is the chef. And everything are Rémy size! Partitions were dishes, chairs made by Champagne bottle wire, and cocktail umbrellas. I could find Gusteau's cooking book. If you don't have time to visit this restaurant, you can also see some area of the restaurant when you finish "Ratatouille : The Adventure" attraction.

お料理はもちろんフランス料理。私は、前菜、メイン、デザートの3品が楽しめるグストーというコースにしました。前菜はフォアグラ。一緒に出てくるパンと食べると、最高です。年間パスポートを提示すると、ノンアルコールのカクテルもついてきます。メインはフィレステーキ、結構な塊肉。映画に出てくるラタトゥーユがついてきます。野菜たっぷり。ポテトグラタンも熱々でおいしくて・・・また食べたいなぁ。デザートは温かいタルトタタンでした。とってもベーシックなフランスのビストロ料理という感じで、意外とおいしかったです。
This restaurant served French cuisine. I had Gusteau menu with starters, main dish, and dessert. Duck Foie Gras as starter. For annual pass holders, non-alcohol cocktail also served. Main was Beef Fillet with “premium” ratatouille and gratin potatoes. Then Warm Tarte Tatin as dessert. It was very basic French Bistrot menu, great!

そして、おなかいっぱいでレストランを出ると、ちょうどレミーがグリーティングをしているところでした。シェフ！ごちそうさまでした！
When I went out from there with full stomach, I found Rémy was having greeting session. Thank you for wonderful meal for me, Chef Rémy:)

クリスマスシーズンということもあり、レストラン周辺にはクリスマスマーケットのような屋台がいくつかありました。ホットワイン（フランス語だとヴァンショー）、焼き栗、プレッツェル、ラクレットチーズがかかったパンなど、こちらもおいしいものがたくさん。滞在中、何度も訪れる私的お気に入りエリアでした。また食べたい～。
There also were some stands like Christmas market. Hot wine, roast chestnuts, pretzels, bread with raclette, and so on! I loved this gourmet area at Walt Disney Studios park.

ノエルのディズニーランド・パリ（ミッキーのマジカルクリスマスライト） / Christmas time at Disneyland Paris (Mickey's Magical Christmas Lights)

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。ディズニーランド・パリの旅、続きです。今日はミッキーのマジカルクリスマスライトについて書いていきます。
Hi. I would like to go back to Disneyland Paris trip. Today's topic is "Mickey's Magical Christmas Lights".

ミッキーのマジカルクリスマスライトは、ざっくりいうとクリスマスツリーの点灯式。ディズニーランドパークの、タウンスクエアにあるツリーの前に、ちょっとしたステージが出てきて、そこで実施されていました。私の滞在中は1日2公演、7:45pmと8:20pmと、非常に近い時間だったので、そのまま2回連続で見るのもよさそうですね。私は寒くて退散しましたが・・・。
”Mickey's Magical Christmas Lights" is a kind of lighting ceremony of Christmas tree at Town Square, Disneyland park. A small stage came to street in front of the tree. There were 2 performances per day while I was there, 7:45pmと8:20pm. I think it was possible to watch twice as the interval was so short, but I couldn't due to cold weather.

数名のダンサーと、ミッキー、ミニーが登場。サンタクロースもやってきて、ツリーのライトを少しずつ点灯していきます。
Some dancers, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse came to the stage, and Santa Claus followed. Then they put lights of Christmas Tree step by step.

青い光が幻想的なツリー。日本のカラフルなツリーとはちょっと違って、ステキでした。
Blue and romantic tree! It was different from Japanese colorful one.

ちなみに、ウォルトディズニースタジオパークのほうでは、グーフィーのインクレディブルクリスマスというショーが行われていました。毎日閉園時間（この時は8:00pm）に合わせて公演される、クリスマスの夜のショーです。主役はグーフィー。プラスして、ミッキー、ミニー、ドナルド、デイジー、サンタクロースも登場するにぎやかなものでした。ディズニーランドパークのマジカルクリスマスライトと時間がかぶるため、1日で移動しながら両方を見るのは難しく、、、クリスマスシーズンのショーを制覇するには、何日かの滞在が必要な感じのスケジュールで困っちゃいますね。
At Walt Disney Studios park, "Goofy's Incredible Christmas", a night-time show performed from the park closing time (It was 8:00pm on the day I visited). The leading actor was Goofy. Plus Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Santa Claus were on stage. So much fun story. Both show time, ”Mickey's Magical Christmas Lights" and "Goofy's Incredible Christmas", was very close, and it was impossible to watch both in a day. I needed some days to watch every Christmas event shows.

雪の東京ディズニーリゾート / Tokyo Disney Resort in Snow

こんにちは、ねこたろうです。土曜日はふらりと雪の東京ディズニーリゾートに行ってきました。インフルエンザになったりなんだりで、すっかりご無沙汰していたこともあり、なんだか新鮮な感じ。
Hi, I went Tokyo Disney Resort in snow on last Saturday. It was my visit for the first time in a while because I got the flu :(

キャストの方が作った雪だるま。うっすら雪をかぶったシンデレラ城やプロメテウス火山。ふらふらと散歩しているだけでも楽しいものですね。
Mickey shaped snowman made by cast members, snow-capped Cinderella Castle and Prometheus volcano. Just strolling about was so much fun.

雪が降ってしまうと、いくつかのアトラクションやショーが中止になってしまうよう。土曜日も、ビッグサンダーマウンテンやセンターオブジアースは運営休止でした。ワンデーパスポートだとちょっともったいないなぁと思ってしまうかもしれないですが、年パスだと気にならない。まもなく年パス買って1年になりますが、改めてよさに気づいちゃいました。これは、延長もありかな？？？
Some attractions and shows were closed temporarily on snowy day, such as Big Thunder Mountain and Journey to the Center of the Earth. If I were one-day passport guest, I may be disappointed, but I didn't care because I am an annual pass holder. Great:) I can't stop renewing my annual passport.

[今日のランチ / Today's Lunch]
カフェ・ポルトフィーノで、ピクサー・プレイタイムのメニュー、トイ・ストーリー・セットをいただきました。スープにマッシュポテトが入っていたり、パスタにのっているチキンフリットもマヨネーズみたいなソースがかかっているしで、結構なボリュームでした。デザートは3種類から選べるそうです。私はもちろんウッディー！保安官バッジみたいな星型のチョコがかわいい！
I had Toy Story set, one of Pixer Play Time special menu, at Cafe Portofino. It was large volume menu, as mashed potato in the soup, fried chicken covered by mayonnaise on the pasta. Dessert could be selected from 3 choices, I of course had Woody's roll cakes. Star shaped chocolate was so cute.

ピクサー・プレイタイムが始まったよ@TDS / Pixar Playtime started

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。お正月が終わり、東京ディズニーリゾートの冬のイベントが始まりましたね。昨日は、ディズニーシーでピクサー・プレイタイムを楽しんできました。
Winter events at Tokyo Disney Resort had just started. I visited Tokyo DisneySea, and enjoyed "Pixar Playtime".

ピクサー・プレイタイムは3月25日までの冬のイベント。この期間中は、ディズニーシーの中はピクサーだらけ。デコレーションだけではなく、ミニゲームのブースもあり、パーク内各所でミッションをクリアしてシールがもらえるゲームもあり。ショーやアトラクション以外の楽しみが多いのも特徴です。アメリカンウォーターフロントではピクサー・プレイタイム・バンドの演奏に遭遇。にぎやかで楽しかった！ピクサーのキャラクターたち（ヨロコビやカナシミ、バズライトイヤー、サリー、ロッツォを見かけました）のグリーティングもやってました。
Pixar Playtime is the winter seasonal event at Tokyo DisneySea, until March-25. Whole park were enveloped in Pixar decorations. Mini game booths and mission game were also available. I found "Pixar Playtime Band" playing at American Waterfront. It was lively music! Some Pixar characters were also at American Waterfront and had greeting session. I found Joy, Sadness, Sulley, Buzz Lightyear, and Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear.

このイベントのメインとなるショーは、3つ。ピアッツァ・トポリーノ（ミッキー広場）で行われる、ピクサー・プレイタイム・パルズ。ザンビーニブラザーズリストランテ前で行われる、レミーの”誰でも名シェフ”。そして、アメリカンウォーターフロントで行われる、ライトニング・マックィーン・ヴィクトリーラン。昨日は、この、ライトニング・マックィーン・ヴィクトリーランを見てきました。
There are three main entertainment of this event. "Pixar Playtime Pals" held at Piazza Topolino (Mickey Plaza), "Chef Remy & You" held in front of Zambini Brothers’ Ristorante, and "Lightning McQueen Victory Lap" at American Waterfront. I watched "Lightning McQueen Victory Lap" yesterday.

アメリカンウォーターフロントのニューヨークエリアをぐるりと回る、ミニパレードみたいなこのショー。最初にダンサーさんがやってきて一緒に振り付けを練習します。そのあとにライトニング・マックィーンが登場。ピカピカのボディーがかっこよかったです。彼の後ろについてパレードに参加したい場合は、ダンサーさんにアピールすると入れてもらえる様子。スタート地点以外でも声をかけてもらっていました。昨年は朝から並んで整理券をもらう必要があったので、今年はちょっとハードルが下がりましたね。
It was a kind of parade going around New York area of American Waterfront. First, dancers came to the route, and taught guests choreography to support Victory run. Then Lightning McQueen came. He was so cool with shiny body. Dancers invited some guests into the parade. If you want, let's appeal to dancers:)

残り2つのショーは、見損ねたので、また別の日に行ってみようと思います。
I will visit again to watch other 2 entertainments some other day.

ノエルのディズニーランド・パリ（メリー・スティッチマス） / Christmas time at Disneyland Paris (A Merry Stitchmas)

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。しばらく、年末年始のお話を続けていましたが、また、ディズニーランド・パリの旅に戻ります。今日は、メリー・スティッチマスのお話です。
Hi. I wrote about my new year's experiences these days, but I would like to go back to Disneyland Paris trip. Today's topic is "A Merry Stitchmas".

メリー・スティッチマスも、クリスマスのイベント期間中のショー。ディズニーランドパークの、ロイヤルキャッスルステージで上演されていました。お城の右横の屋外ステージで、座席はなく、ステージ前で立ち見をするか、正面にある高台から見下ろすかのどちらかですす。私の滞在中は1日3公演でした。
"A Merry Stitchmas" was a show during Christmas event period as well, at Royal Castle Stage of Disneyland park, on the right side of the Castle. No seats, guests stood in front of the stage, or they were on the elevated ground where I was. 3 performances per 1 day while I was there.

もちろん、主役はスティッチですが、ミッキー、ミニー、グーフィー、ドナルド、デイジーと、豪華な出演キャラクター。加えてダンサーさんもたくさん出てきます。
The leading role of this show was Stitch, but other Disney Characters and dancers also joined the stage, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy.

ロイヤルキャッスルステージは、どうやらバックステージと直接つながっていないようで、ショーの開始前に、キャラクターやダンサーさんたちがスタンバイのために出てくるんです。それがわかってたらステージ前に待機してたかも。だって、この時点でもみんなかわいいんですよー。
As Royal Castle Stage is not directly linked to the back stage, the show performers came to the stage by walk to stand by the show. Really cute already!

クリスマスソングに合わせたダンスがショーのメイン。スティッチは途中で衣装替えがあります。最初はレイをつけたいつもの姿、プレスリーみたいなギタリスト、アロハシャツを着て出てきたと思えば、最後はサンタクロースの衣装です。
The show was a kind of revue show with Christmas music and dance. Stitch changed his outfits during the show. Normal costume with Hawaiian lei at first, then guitarist like Elvis Presley, Aloha shirts, then Santa Clause.

ショーそのものももちろん楽しいんですが、自分の出番ではないときにステージのはじではしゃいでいるキャラクターたちがまたかわいいことかわいいこと。ミッキーとミニーはいちゃいちゃしてたり、ドナルドは箱の中を覗き込んでみたり、ダンサーのまねをして変なポーズをとったり。腕立て伏せしてお互いの筋肉を自慢してみたり。見るところが多くて忙しいくらいでした。
Show itself was of course great, but characters on the side of stage was so cute. Mickey and Minnie kissed, Donald looked into a box, they imitate dancers pose, tried push-up like muscle-flexing guys. 

ショーの後半では、ミニーが「All I Want For Christmas Is You」を歌います。小悪魔的な歌い方！日本の優等生ミニーとは性格までちがうみたい。
Minnie sung a famous song "All I Want For Christmas Is You" at the latter half of the show. Her voice was like a sweet devil while she is like a honor student in Japan.

クライマックスは、お城の噴水も上がって、とってもにぎやかなショーでした。
At climax, the castle's fountain came out. It was lively show.

ニューイヤーズ・イヴ@TDL 3 / New Year's Eve 3

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。東京ディズニーランドでの2018-2019の年越しカウントダウン、ニューイヤーズ・イヴの体験レポート第3弾です。今回の記事では、雑記的に思ったことや観察して気付いたことを書いていきます。
This is our experience report of "New Year's Eve", a count down party at Tokyo Disneyland. I would like to write what I felt and I found.

◆1月1日0:40amのアトラクション待ち時間 / Waiting time of attractions at 0:40am on Jan-1
たまたまスクリーンショットが残ってました。ご参考までに書き出してみます。スラッシュの前の数字が待ち時間、後ろの数字がファストパス発券時間です。なんとなく、ディズニーランドの方が空いている感じがしますね。
I took some screen shots of web site. Let me share. The number before "/" is waiting time, and after it is FastPass return time. I feel DisneySea was more crowded than Disneyland.

◆トイ・ストーリー・マニア！のファストパス / FastPass distribution of Toy Story Mania!
カウントダウン営業中も、どんどんなくなっていくトイ・ストーリー・マニア！のファストパス。2:20amの時点で発券していたのは、21:05-22:00のものでした。これ、みんなちゃんと戻って来れたんですかね？笑
Toy Story Mania! is the most popular attraction in Tokyo Disney Resort. Its FastPass ticket went out quite eariler then others. For your information, at 2:20am Jan-1, they distributed tickets which return time was 21:05-22:00. I don't think everyone could be back:0

◆パークの中の音楽 / Park Music
パークの中では、いつもの音楽ではなく、35年間のパレードやショーの音楽が代わる代わる流れていました。途中でDJみたいな曲紹介入りです。これ、子どもの時に聴いたことあるなーという曲もあれば、2018年まで公演されていたパレード「ハピネスイズヒア」のような、ちょっと懐かしいくらいな曲もあり、特別な感じです。曲を聴いても踊りださないのは、日本人らしいところですね。（去年、ウォルトディズニーワールドでカウントダウンを見たときは、みなさん踊りまくってました！）
Park music was not normal one but songs of parades and shows for 35 years with DJ's comment. Some were really old songs I had heard in my childhood, and some were most recent songs such as "Happiness is Here", a daytime parade music until 2018 April. (No one were dancing with music, this was quiet personality of typical Japanese I thought.) I felt New Year's Eve event was really special.

◆特別メニューがない問題 / Special menu
今年から、レストランでの特別メニューはなくなってしまったんだそうです。これは本当に残念。確かに、普段のメニューも簡略化されてきてますし、人手不足なのも本当に良く分かります。でもこれはぜひ復活して欲しい！
There was no special menu at restaurants. I was so sad. Exactlly, usual menu becomes simpler than before these days, and I know every companies are worried manpower shortage now. But I hope New Year's special menu will make a comeback next year!

◆感想 / My impressions
初めて東京ディズニーランドでカウントダウンを体験してみての感想です。寒いとか混雑しているとか、寒いとか、寒いとか、いろいろ聞いていたのでかなりびくびくしていたわけですが、行ってみたらどうってことなかったです。準備をしっかりしていったせいもあるし、ラッキーなことにお城の前をポジれたこともあるでしょうね。いつもの混雑がない、いつもの音楽が流れていない、いつもの時間帯じゃないパークに居られたというのは、とても特別感がありましたし、楽しかったです。でもまぁ、来年行きたいかと言われたら、誘われたら行くかな、くらいな気持ちですかね。どちらかというとアトラクションより、ショーやパレードの方が好きなので、カウントダウンだけでは物足りなかったかな。
This is my impressions of my first Count Down at Tokyo Disneyland. I heard that it was really cold and crowded there, very cold, so much cold, so I was scary. However it was not so bad thanks to preparation. Also we were lucky that we could find better place to watch fireworks. It was special moment for me, no long queue line, no normal music but DJ, attractions midnight. If you ask me if I will go again next time, I think I will say yes if my friend invites me:P It was nice experience but I felt something missing. Because I like show and parade more than attractions.
