エントランスの整列グリーティング@TDL / Line-Up Greeting at Park Entrance

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。今日は、東京ディズニーランドのエントランスの整列グリーティングに並んでみました。実は35年目にして初めてです・・・。

Good evening! Today I tried Line-Up Greeting at the Park Entrance of Tokyo Disneyland. In fact, it was my first time throughout 35 years history.

 

まずは概要から。ここで会えるのは、ミッキーとミニー。それぞれ別の列ができています。いつでもいるわけではなく、パレード中や夕方以降は不在です。当日のスケジュールはオフィシャルサイトに載っています。この時間はグリーティングをやっている時間帯で、列の締め切りはもっと早いので要注意です。そうそう、悪天候のときも案内が中止になってしまうのでご注意ください。パーク内にいるときは、オフィシャルサイトで運営状況や待ち時間も見られるようになっています。

First, its overview. Guests can meet and greet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse at the Park Entrance. There are 2 lines for each characters. Their greeting schedule is available on official web site. The scheduled time is their appearance time, so line cut earlier than scheduled end time. Greeting may be cancelled due to inclement weather. While you are in the park, you can see the current operation status on official web site as well.

では、並んでみましょう！まずは最後尾のキャストの方から、整列券を受け取ります。このときには人数を伝える必要があり、受付後は人数変更ができませんのでご注意を。その後、自分の順番が来るまでは、同行者と交代で列を離れることができます。特にこれからの季節は暑いので、交代で日陰に逃げた方がいいかも。。。

Then, let's try to stand in line! You will get a greeting ticket from a cast who is on the end of line. You need to report the number of your group. Please make sure, once you report, you can't change the number. After you get the greeting ticket, then your group members can leave the line in rotation. (One of members need to be in line, at least.) I recommend to do so because it's really hot there.

順番が近づくとキャストの方からスナップフォトの案内があります。もちろん手持ちのカメラでの撮影もOKですが、1グループにつき1枚のみです。私の場合は、手持ちのカメラで、キャラクターのワンショットを撮り、オンラインフォトでツーショットを撮ってもらっています。

When you turn come close, a cast may tell you about Snap Photo Service. Of course you can use your own camera but guests are requested to limit their photo-taking to one shot per party when using their own camera. In my case, I take characters shot by my own camera, and ask Snap Photo cameraman to take a picture of me and characters.

ということで、今日とったミッキーとミニーのお写真はこちら。手持ちのカメラでの撮影は1枚だけですが、決して流れ作業的ではなく、ハグしてくれたりサインしてくれたり、楽しくお迎えしてくれますのでご安心ください。最後にお写真がちゃんと撮れているのかのチェックも忘れずに。もし、何かのアクシデントで撮れてなかったら、撮りなおしさせてもらえます。

These are pictures of Mickey and Minnie. Even though only one shot could be taken per party, they were very kind:) Many hugs, autograph...etc. Please make sure to check if your picture was taken properly by your camera before you say goodbye to them. If it's not taken, then ask cast members to take it again. They will kindly help you. 

今日のスケジュールは、8:00am から10:25amと、12:00から3:30pmの2回でした。私は11:20amごろからミニーの列に並び始めて、自分の順番が来たのが12:25頃。ミッキーの列に並び始めたのが12:30頃で、自分の順番は1:25pm頃でした。ミッキーとはミッキーの家でも会えるので、ミニーの方が比較的待ち時間が長い傾向があるようです。私がミニーと撮り終わった直後は、100分待ちとの案内をしていました。100分って！

Today's greeting schedule was 2 sessions, 8:00am - 10:25am and 12:00 - 3:30pm. I started to stand in line for Minnie at around 11:20am, and my turn came at around 12:25. As for Mickey, started at around 12:30, and my turn was around 1:25pm. Minnie's line is longer than Mickey's generally, because guests can meet Mickey at his house as well. When I finished my greeting with Minnie, the waiting time became 100 min!

[今日のおやつ / Today's Snack]

トゥモローランドテラスで、チキンナゲット（330円）とコカコーラゼロ（Mサイズ300円）。チキンナゲットは良く見たらミッキーの形でした。あら、かわいい。

I had chicken nuggets (330 yen) and Coke Zero (300 yen for M size). chicken nuggets are Mickey-shaped. Cute:)

ポリネシアンテラス・レストランのランチショーに行こう@TDL / Let's go to Lunch Show at Polynesian Terrace Restaurant

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。今日は、先週の金曜日に行った、ポリネシアンテラス・レストランのランチショーについてご紹介していきます。

Good evening! I would like to write about my experience when I went to Lunch Show at Polynesian Terrace Restaurant on last Friday.

 

アドベンチャーランドにあるポリネシアンテラス・レストランは、食事をしながらショーが鑑賞できるレストランです。ランチにはリロのルアウ＆ファン、ディナーにはミッキーのレインボー・ルアウが公演されています。利用するには、オンラインでの事前予約が必要で、これがなかなか難易度が高い・・・。特にランチショーは取りづらく、この日の予約も、予約開始から何度も画面をリロードしながら、なんとか確保した、という感じでした。料金は座席クラスによって変わり、大人の場合、S席が4530円、A席が4110円、B席が3700円です。

Guests can watch shows during meal at Polynesian Terrace Restaurant, Adventureland. Lunch show is Lilo's Luau and Fan, and Dinner show is Mickey's Rainbow Luau. Reservation is required via Online site. It is really difficult to make reservation actually.... especially for Lunch show. Somehow I made my reservation for the day reloading web screen again and again. The price is (for adult), 4530yen for S class, 4110yen for A class and 3700yen for B class.

利用当日は、ショーの開始1時間前までに（その日の初回のショーは30分前まで）、一度お店に行ってチケットと引き換えます。この時点でお席まで決まっているみたいですね。この日はA席、星のマークのあたりでした。

Guest have to go to the restaurant at latest 1 hour (if your reservation is the first show, then 30 min.) before the show, and get the ticket. At this point, the table was already assigned. My table was A class, ★ on the map.

テーブルにはすでに飲み物と前菜、クエペという腕飾り、登場するキャラクターの写真のついたカードが置いてありました。クエペはショーの間に腕につける場面もありますし、そのままお土産として持ち帰ることもできます。飲み物はポリネシアンパンチというオリジナルのノンアルコールカクテル、前菜はシーフードマリネと赤ピーマンとラズベリーのムースでした。

There already were drink, starter, bracelet and card with characters picture. As for the bracelet, I used it during the show, and I could bring it home as souvenir. The drink was Polynesian punch, non-alcohols cocktail. The starter was seafood marine with vegetable mousse.

しばらくするとショーがスタート。といっても、登場キャラクターの紹介くらいの短いものでおしまい。

The show started a short time later. But it was really short show, only some introduction of Disney Characters.

ここからはほぼグリーティングタイムです。リロ、スティッチ、ミッキー、ミニー、チップ、デールが各席を回ってくれるんですね。これは贅沢なメンバー！なかなか予約が取りづらいのもわかります。写真の枚数制限はなかったですが、お席は立たないように、また、このショー中はサインはできないとアナウンスがありました。途中でキャラクターたちはひとりずつ舞台に呼ばれて、それぞれがルアウのために持ち寄ったグッズを紹介していきますが、みんなあんまり見てなかったですね。そりゃあ目の前に別のキャラがいたらそっちに集中してしまうわな。

 Then character greeting started. Lilo, Stich, Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale came to each tables. Gorgeous members! I understood why it was difficult to book. I could take some pictures with them. There was an announcement to keep seated while greeting, and to avoid autograph while this show. During the greeting time, characters were invited to the stage to show their souvenirs for this Luau. However almost all guests didn't pay attention to the stage:P

グリーティングが終わると、お子さんたちが舞台にあつまってみんなでフラ。最後はキャラクターたちのフラを見て、それでおしまいです。ショーの部分は本当に短く、どちらかというとキャラクターダイニングでした。なので、個人的にはB席でも十分かなと思っちゃいました。

After greeting, children came up to the stage and did the Hula. Then characters did the Hula at the end of the show. That's it. The show part was so short, so I think it was Character Dining, not Show restaurant. Thus, B class seat seems enough.

食事もできて、ショーも見れて。なによりもこんなにたくさんのキャラとグリーティングができるのはなかなか貴重です。とくに小さなお子さんと一緒の方にはおすすめ！ぜひ予約がんばってみてください。時々、数日前にぽこっと空きが出ていることもありますので、最後までチャレンジを～。

I recommend this lunch show especially for families with small children, because guests can eat, watch the show, and greet Mickey and friends. Please try to make reservation. Sometimes there are available time slot due to cancellation. Don't give up:)

マイ・フレンド・ダッフィー@TDS / My Friend Duffy

今日はお昼過ぎから、雨模様の舞浜へ。1:00pm頃に到着したとき、ディズニーランドのエントランスでは、ミッキーとミニーがレインコートを着てグリーティング中でした。大きな耳を覆うような帽子、かわいいですね。残念ながら、これからもっと天候が悪くなるからということで、グリーティングの列は早々にラインカットされていました。

I visited rainy Tokyo Disney Resort. When I got there at around 1:00pm, Mickey and Minnie were having greeting in their rain coats. Their big ears were covered by the hats, really cute. Unfortunately the queue lines for their greeting were already closed due to weather condition.

ディズニーシーの、ファッショナブル・イースターは2回ともキャンセル。ハピエストセレブレーション・オン・ザ・シーは、レインコートを着た雨バージョンでした。

Fashionable Easter, the harbor show at Tokyo DisneySea, was cancelled today. Happiest Celebration on the Sea was rainy day version with Disney characters in rain coats.

 

さて、こんな肌寒い雨の日はお部屋の中で過ごしたい、ということで、今日は、マイ・フレンド・ダッフィーを見に行ってみました。アメリカンウォーターフロントのケープコッド・クックオフで行われているショーで、食事をしながら見ることができるものです。

By the way, as I thought I would like to spend my time inside in this rainy and chilly weather, I tried "My Friend Duffy". It is the dining show at Cape Cod Cook-Off, American Waterfront.

レストランの入り口は、ショーを見る人と見ない人で列が分かれていますのでご注意を。予約は必要ありません。店内に入ったら、キャストの方に人数を告げ、カードをもらいます。その後は注文とお会計と、商品の受け取り。食事はハンバーガーやポテトなどファーストフードで、私は、ファーストプライズセット990円とカップサラダ350円にしました。ダイニングエリアに進む途中で、利用制限時間をカードに記入してもらったら、お席に案内してもらえます。

There were 2 lines at the entrance of the restaurant, one is for show dining and another is dining without show. No reservation required. When I came in, a cast member asked numbers of person, and gave a card. Then order meal. This restaurant serves fast foods such as hamburgers and potato. I had "First Prize set" 990 JPY and cup salad 350 JPY.  On the way to dining area, a cast wrote time limit of my table into the card, then another cast guide me to table.

 

ショーは2話仕立て。両方とも約10分間で、5分の休憩を挟んで次の公演、、といった感じで連続して公演されています。（途中で30分間の休演時間があります。今日は2:30pmから3:00pmは休演していました。）

There are 2 stories in a row. Each were 10 min.. After 1 story performed then 5 min. interim, then next story started. (There was 30 min. break time. It was from 2:30pm to 3:00pm today.)

 

こちらは1話目。さみしそうにしているダッフィーのために、ミッキーとミニーがシェリーメイを作ってあげる、というお話です。

These pictures are from 1st story. Duffy feels lonely, then Mickey and Minnie makes Shellie May for him.

こちらは2話目。航海に出かけていたミッキーとダッフィーが、ジェラトーニを連れて帰ってくる、というお話です。

These pictures are from 2nd story. Mickey and Duffy bring Gelatoni back from their sailing.

 

毎日の公演時間は、Todayに載っています。たいてい、5:00pmか6:30pmには終了してしまうので、行くならランチやティータイムに、という感じでしょうか。ダッフィー・シェリーメイ・ジェラトーニが好きな方にはたまらないですね。内容はとっても簡単で、お子さんでも理解しやすいものでしたので、ご家族連れにもよさそうです。

Its show schedule is available on "Today", Entertainment and information guide. It generally ends at 5:00pm or 6:30pm. So it is good for lunch or tea time. Duffy/Shellie May/Gelatoni lovers, please don't miss it! Also, I recommend it for families because its story is easy to understand. (But it is all in Japanese language.)

センター・オブ・ジ・アース マグマサンクタムツアー@TDS / Journey to the Center of the Earth, Magma Sanctum Tour

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。昨日は午後から東京ディズニーシーに移動して、センター・オブ・ジ・アースのマグマサンクタムツアーに参加してきました。私も初めて知ったんですが、センター・オブ・ジ・アースのアトラクションそのものが休止期間中にのみ行われている、地底探検のツアーなんです。

I moved to Tokyo DisneySea in the afternoon yesterday, and joined "Journey to the Center of the Earth, Magma Sanctum Tour". It was special tour going to the center of the earth during refurbish term of the attraction. It was new for me!

 

ツアーのスタートはもちろんアトラクションの入り口。左手を右肩に当てる、ミステリアスアイランドの挨拶を教えてもらった後、通常はQラインとして使われているエリアにガイドのキャストさんと一緒に入っていきます。

The tour started from the entrance of the attraction. First, we learned Mysterious Island style greeting, putting left hand on right shoulder, from a guide cast. Then we moved into the queue line area.

ネモ船長の考えていたことや、地底生物の特性など、解説を聞きながら、展示物をゆっくり見ることができます。そうそう、アトラクションを待っている間にこのエリアを通ったことはありますが、それぞれに細かくストーリーがあったとは知らなかったです。

The guide cast told Captain Nemo's story, such as his thought and his research. I had walked this area before while waiting in the queue of the attraction, but I never know there were detailed stories of each display items.

人がいないテラベーターのりば。いつもは地底800メートルのベースステーションに向かうために使われているものです。変な感じがしますね。

"Terravators" without guests, really rare situation. These are used to go to the base station at 800 meter under the ground usually.

 

ツアーの最後は、ネモ船長のデスク。いつもは閉じられている金網の扉が開けられていて、じっくり見ることができました！

The end of the tour was Captain Nemo's desk. As the wire netting fence was opened, I could watched it deeply:)

このツアー、今回は5月20日までとのことです。残りあとわずかですが、ご興味のある方はぜひぜひ。昨日私が参加したときは、並び始めに60～70分くらい待ちますとの案内があり、実際そのくらい待ちました。3:00pmくらいにはラインカットされていましたので、ご参考までです。

This tour is only available until May-20th. When I joined, the waiting time was about 60 or 70 min.. and the admission of the waiting queue was closed at around 3:00pm. For your information. The tour was in Japanese language.

 

マグマサンクタムツアーの後は、メディテレーニアンハーバーに戻ってファッショナブル・イースターの2回目を鑑賞。相変わらず大人気です。お洋服がとってもかわいいので、人気があるのもうなずけますね。

After "Magma Sanctum Tour", I moved to Mediterranean Harbor and watched the 2nd show of "Fashionable Easter", the harbor show. It is really famous, because, I think, Disney Characters' outfits are so much cute.

チョコレートクランチコラボメニュー@TDL / Chocolate Crunch Collaboration Menu

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。今日の東京ディズニーランドはとってもいいお天気。そこで35周年期間限定のチョコレートクランチコラボのアイスを食べてみました。

Good evening! It was sunny day at Tokyo Disneyland today, so I had Chocolate Crunch collaboration ice-cream, a special menu during 35 years anniversary event.

 

場所はワールドバザールのアイスクリームコーンというお店。ドナルドのおしりみたいなアイス、かわいいでしょ。正式名称はチョコナッツバニラアイス＆チョコレートクランチ、ですが、ドナルドのアイスで通じますよー。１つ500円です。

The name of the shop is Ice Cream Cones, at World Bazaar. Donald's bippy shaped ice-cream, so cute:) It's official name is Choco nuts vanilla ice and chocolate crunch, but it is known as Donald's ice. 500 JPY.

チョコチップとナッツの入ったバニラアイスに、ドナルドの足の形のクッキー、チョコレートクランチが刺さっています。結構こってりな組み合わせなので、今くらいの気温の方がおいしく食べられそう。土日はお店の外まで行列できてましたので、時間に余裕を持ったほうが良さそうです。

Vanilla ice-cream with chocolate chip and nuts, Donald's foot shaped cookies, and chocolate crunch bar. As its taste was rich, I think it is good for early summer weather like today.

さて。お次は今日撮った、ドリーミング・アップ！の1回目公演の写真をご紹介。ザ・ダイアモンドホースシューの前で鑑賞しました。パレードの40分前くらいに到着して、ぎりぎり最前列を確保。平日っていいですね。

Then, let me share pictures of the 1st show of Dreaming Up!. I watched it in front of The Diamond Horseshoe today. I arrived there at around 40 min. before the parade start, and I could get almost last seat at front row.  Weekday is easy for seating!

I saw Dale was having juice. The dance by Bert and penguins was happy.

お城前のウェルカムグリーティングとフレンチトースト@TDL / Welcome Greeting in Front of the Castle, and French Toast

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。どうやら最近、東京ディズニーランドでは、朝の開園時間前に、お城の前でミッキーとミニーのウェルカムグリーティングがあるといううわさを聞きつけまして、昨日のインパークでは早起きチャレンジをしてみました。以前別の記事でも書いたとおり、4月16日より入園方法が変わり、混雑状況によって、入園時間より前にお城の前の広場まで入れるようになっているので、それにあわせた変化のようです。

Good evening! I tried to wake up early yesterday so that I could get to Tokyo Disneyland early morning, because I heard there would be Welcome Greeting with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse before the park openings. This change seemed to happen along with new Park entry procedure I mentioned in another article.

この日の開園時間は8:00am、ゲートがオープンしたのは7:30amでした。オープンしてすぐに向かったのはシンデレラ城。お城の真正面はもうすでに他の方がいたので、スロープのあたり最前列をぎりぎりゲットしました。私も6:30amにはゲート前についていてそれなりに早起きしたつもりだったんですが、それでも若干乗り遅れているという・・・。みなさん、早起きお疲れ様です。

The official park opening was 8:00am on the day, and the main gates opened at 7:30am. Then I went to Cinderella Castle soon after park opening. I could take my place in front of the slope but I couldn't secure seat right in front of the castle, even though I got to the park gate at 6:30am. It means other guests were already there earlier than me... How tough!

 

ロープの前でドキドキしていると、7:45amにディズニーランドバンドが登場して演奏開始。続いて出てきたのは、もちろん、ミッキーとミニー！スロープを行ったりきたりしながら、音楽に合わせてくるくる回ったり、お城の周りのゲストに手を振ったりしていました。

At 7:45am, Disneyland Band came and started to play music. Then, Mickey and Minnie came! They were dancing, going backward and forward around the slope, and shaking hands to guests.

7:55amくらいにはもう戻ってしまったので、約10分間と短いグリーティングではありますが、朝からミッキーとミニーに会えるのはとってもうれしい！朝はなによりアトラクションに向かいたいのよという方も、トゥーンタウン方向に向かう橋とウェスタンランドに向かう橋の、シンデレラ城側だったら、ちらっとふたりの姿が見えますよ。ちゃんとそちら方向にも手を振っていました。

It was only 10 min. greeting, but I was so happy to meet them in the early morning:) In case you want to prioritize Attractions, I recommend to be at Cinderella Castle side of bridges toward Toontown and Westernland. Then you will be able see Mickey and Minnie shaking hands.

 

さて、朝のウェルカムグリーティングで楽しい気分になったあとは、朝ごはんです。ワールドバザールのセンターストリート・コーヒーハウスでは、10:00amまで朝食メニューが用意されています。私が頼んだのは、こちらのフレンチトースト。ヨーグルトとソフトドリンクが付いて1080円です。これがですね、正直びっくりしたんですけど、とってもおいしいのです。卵液がしっかりと中まで染みていて、ふるふるのプリンみたいに焼きあがっているという、、、最高。また食べたい。

After Welcome Greeting, now breakfast time. I visited Center Street Coffee House at World Bazaar as guests can have breakfast there until 10:00am. I ordered French Toast with yogurt and soft drink, 1080 JPY. To be honest, I was very much shocked because it was really really good! Sweet egg liquid soaked into bread deeply, and baked jiggly.

It was the best. I want to have it again:)

特に事前の登録も不要で、ふらっと立ち寄れますので、ファストパスを取りに行ったあとにでもぜひぜひ寄ってみてください。私は近いうちにまたきっと行くかと。だっておいしかったんですよー。

Reservation doesn't be needed. Please have it after you get the first FastPass. I will surely go there again because it was really yummy:P

ワンマンズ・ドリームⅡ@TDL / One Man's Dream 2

こんばんは、ねこたろうです。ゴールデンウイークの最終日、今日は東京ディズニーランドで「ワンマンズ・ドリームⅡ - ザ・マジック・リブズ・オン」を見てきました。

Hi! Today, the final day of Golden Week, I watched "One Man's Dream II – The Magic Lives On" at Tokyo Disneyland.

 

ワンマンズ・ドリームはトゥモローランドにあるショーベースで行われている常設のショー。香港やアナハイムなど、他のパークのショーが、LEDスクリーンやプロジェクションマッピングを使っているのに対し、物理的なセットを使っているのでちょっと懐かしい感じがします。

"One Man's Dream" is a permanent show at Showbase, Tomorrowland. Even though shows at other park, such as Hong Kong and Anaheim, perform with LED screen and projection mapping, this show uses physical set on the stage. I feel nostalgic with it.

ショーのスタートは白黒のミッキー。ぱっとカラーに変わり、たくさんのキャラクターが登場するところが序盤の見所です。

Show starts with black and white Mickey Mouse. It becomes colorful in a second, and many Disney characters appear.

ドナルドやチップ＆デールがわちゃわちゃするところも、とってもかわいい。グーフィーは相変わらず失敗ばかりです。

The slapstick comedy of Donald Duck, Chip and Dale is so cute. Goofy is making a mistake as always.

最後はキラキラ衣装でみんなが登場します。私にはこの最後のミッキーの衣装が80年代アイドルに見えてしょうがなく・・・笑。家族連れでも楽しめるショーですね。特にドナルド好きにはおすすめです。

Finally Mickey and his friends appear in sparkly dresses. To be honest, I think Mickey's dress is like a 80s' idol... funny:P This is also recommended for families. Especially, it is good for Donald funs.

公演1回目はすべて自由席ですが、2回目以降は指定席と自由席があり、指定席で鑑賞するには抽選が必要です。抽選はトゥモローランド・ホールかスマートフォンのアプリでできます。今日は写真を撮るためにいい席に座りたかったので、1回目の公演のかなり前に並びました。1時間前に劇場に案内開始、30分前でもまだ空席がありました。ご参考までです。自分の席を確保した後、トイレに行きたくなった場合は、会場を離れることができます。その場合は再入場券をもらってくださいね。

The first performance will not require a reserved seat ticket and there will be no lottery. From the second performance onwards, reserved and non-reserved seating will be available. Reserved seat tickets are available by lottery. The lottery is located at Tomorrowland Hall or Apps. I waited from quite early today so that I could get the best seat for photo shooting. Theater opened at 1 hour before the first performance, and there still were available seats at 30 min. before the show. For your information. After I got my seat, I could go out of the theater to go to toilet. In case please ask cast members a re-admission ticket.

[今日のランチ / Today's Lunch]

クイーン・オブ・ハートのバンケットホールで、ロティサリーチキン（1380円）とハウスサラダ（490円）にしました。チキンがやわらかくておいしかったです。スーベニア付きのデザートもあるんですね。知らなかったー。カップ付きのヨーグルトムースと、プレート付きのカシスクリームケーキ。どちらも750円でした。

I had Rotisserie Chicken (1380 JPY) and House Salad (490 JPY) at Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall. There were desserts with souvenirs. Both Yogurt mousse with souvenir cup  and Cassis cream cake with souvenir plate were 750 JPY.
