年末のWDW旅行、2日目です。お城の前のステージショー、ミッキーのロイヤル・フレンドシップ・フェアを見た後は、ムーブ・イット！シェイク・イット！ダンス＆プレイ・イット！ストリートパーティーのお時間です。まったく事前調査もなく、きっとお城が見える位置いた方が良いだろう、と、陣取っていたんですが、ぜーんぜんその必要はありませんでした。なぜなら、プラザの部分全体を自由に動きながら、みんなで踊る、ダンスパーティー的なものだったんです。フロートは5台、お城の前にはDJが、そこから時計回りにミニー、グーフィー、ドナルド、ミッキーの順で止まっていました。この5人はフロートの上から降りてこないものの、他のキャラクターたちはゲストと一緒に踊ります。私も、キャーキャー踊りつつ、カメラを持って動き回ってました。楽しい！自由！
Our trip to WDW, Day 2. After we saw Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire, we also saw Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party. As I didn't have research of the show, we took up positions in front of castle. But, it was not needed at all. Because guest can walk around floats and dance with characters freely. It was really like a dance party. There were 5 floats, one with DJ was in front of castle. And as clockwise, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Mickey Mouse on other floats. Other characters was dancing with guest on the ground. I also danced, and walked around Plaza with my camera. This is fun and freedom.
途中、キャラたちがスマホで写真撮ってたりして。いまどきですねー。この日の公演は、10:30am1:45pmの2回でした。結局10:30amの回しか参加できませんでしたが、できればもう1回一緒にはしゃぎたかったなー。
During the show, I found Characters took picture by smart phone. The show start time were 10:30am and 1:45pm, twice a day on the day. We saw it only once but I hope I can enjoy one more time.
この後は、カリブの海賊、ビッグサンダー・マウンテン、七人の小人のマイントレイン、と乗りたかったアトラクションを回ったり。ジャスミンとアラジン、アリスのグリーティングに並んだり。ジャスミンとアラジンのペアは人気があるみたいで、1回目に行った時はすでにラインカット済み。キャストの方に時間を聞いて、2回目に行った時も50分くらいは待つことになりました。そういえば、アラジンは日本に行ってみたいんですって。その際には私のうちに泊らせて、だそうですよ。ジゴロ体質ねぇ。
We could try the desired attractions in the afternoon. Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. We also enjoyed greetings with Aladdin and Jasmine, Alice. Especially Aladdin and Jasmine was very famous, we waited them for 50 min. By the way, Aladdin said he wanted to come to Japan, and then he will stay at my house. He is like a gigolo;)
オーランド ウォルトディズニーワールドへ行こう（2日目：マジックキングダム1） / Trip to Walt Disney World, Orlando (Day 2 : Magic Kingdom 1)
年末のWDW旅日記、ここからは2日目のお話です。この日は朝から晩までマジックキングダムで過ごす予定、かなり体力勝負です。まず最初は、旅行会社の特典だったビー・アワ・ゲスト・レストランでの朝食です。ホテルまでツアーガイドさんがお迎えにきて、バンに乗ってコンテンポラリーリゾートまで移動し、そこから徒歩でマジックキングダムへ入園しました。これがまた、めっちゃ時間かかったんですよね・・・。正直なところ、レストランの予約と食事代分のバウチャーをもらえれば、後は自分で勝手にやりますけどね、という感じではありました。入園するとちょうど、レット・ザ・マジック・ビギンという、開園のセレモニーのようなショーをやっているところでした。
My Walt Disney World trip, from now on I would like to write the log of Day 2. Our plan was staying Magic Kingdom from early morning to mid night. First, we had breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant. It was a privilege from travel agency. A tour guide came to our hotel to pick us up, moved to Disney's Contemporary Resort by car, then walked to Magic Kingdom. It took time.. To be really honest with you, I don't need picking up. Just reservation of restaurant and food voucher are enough for me. Anyway, when we got there, A opening ceremony show, "Let the Magic Begin" was in progress.
ビー・アワ・ゲスト・レストランはWDWの中でも人気のレストランで、確かに、マジカルなところでした。レストランに入るとまず、タッチスクリーンで注文とお会計を済ませます。その後はダイニングエリアで、自分の好きなお席を選んで、勝手に座ります。すると、、、その席まで料理が運ばれてくるんです。どうして私がそこに座ってるってわかったの？？この魔法の秘密は、たぶんマジックバンドです。天井にたくさんビーコンが埋まっているのを見つけたので、そこでゲストのマジックバンドの位置情報をスキャンして、キャストの方が使っている端末に送っているんだなと。どうでしょう？
Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of famous restaurant in WDW. Indeed, it was great and magical. Soon after entering the restaurant, guests make order and payment at touch screen TV. Then they move to dining area, and take their seats anywhere they want. And, meals come to the table! How cast members can know where the guests are??? I assume...the trick is MagicBand. I found many beacons on the ceiling. They can scan where the guests' MagicBand, then the location information is sent to devices of cast members. How do you think?

My breakfast was Croque Madame. It was so nice. I highly recommend Be Our Guest Restaurant. Please visit and see this magic:)
After breakfast we walked around Fantasyland. I found cute tower of Rapunzel, but it was restroom :p

オーランド ウォルトディズニーワールドへ行こう（1日目：ディズニー・アニマルキングダム3） / Trip to Walt Disney World, Orlando (Day 1 : Disney's Animal Kingdom 3)
年末のWDW旅日記、1日目。アニマルキングダムでキャラクターダイニング、アトラクション、と楽しんだ後、夜のショーまで時間があったので、ディズニースプリングスへ移動することにしました。これがまた、、大変だったー！ディズニースプリングスへ直行するバスは4:00pmからしか動かないとのこと、しょうがないので、アニマルキングダム・ロッジ行きのバスに乗り、そこで乗り換えてディズニースプリングスに向かいました。結局着いたのは4:00pm過ぎ。直行バスを待っても変わらなかったかも・・・。せっかくなので、途中のアニマルキングダム・ロッジのロビーにもお邪魔してみました。いつか泊ってみたいなぁ。
My travel report of WDW trip, Day 1. We enjoyed Character Dining and Attractions, but we still had time enough. That's why we moved to Disney Springs. It was...awful:( As direct buses for Disney Springs would start from 4:00pm, we had to take the bus for Animal Kingdom Lodge first, then transfer to another bus. Finally we got Disney Springs at past 4:00pm... we visited the lobby of Animal Kingdom Lodge. I hope I can stay someday!
ディズニースプリングスでのお目当ては、ギラデリ！もともとは西海岸のチョコレート屋さんですが、ここディズニースプリングスにはカフェがあるのです。ここでMちゃんは大量のチョコレートをお買い上げ。本当は大きなバナナスプリットを食べたかったんですが、寒いのでホットチョコレートを楽しみました。他にもワールド・オブ・ディズニー、ユニクロやアンソロポロジーなどたくさんお店があり、もっともっとお買い物したかった！短い滞在期間ではそうも行かず、断念しました。
Our purpose of visit was Ghirardelli Chocolate. It is Chocolate shop from West Coast, and there is the café in Disney Springs. M-chan, my friend, bought many chocolates. Our original target was a big banana sprit, but we had hot chocolate instead due to cold weather. Other than Ghirardelli, there were many shops such as World of Disney, UNIQLO, Anthropologie, etc. However we couldn't have enough time to explore in our short term trip.
さーて、アニマルキングダムに戻るぞー、とバス停に向かったところ、、、なんと、ディズニー・スプリングスからアニマルキングダムへのバスがないのです！困った。タクシー乗り場もない、UBERもピックアップできる場所が限られている、、、ということで、係りのおじさまに聞いたところ、一番良いのはアニマルキングダム・ロッジでバスを乗り換えること、だそうです。結局、また時間をかけてバスを乗り継ぎ、パークに戻れたのは夜のショー、リバーズ・オブ・ライトの始まる直前でした。間に合ってよかった・・・。
It was time to return Animal Kingdom park, but....no direct bus! OMG! There was no taxi stand, it was far from UBER pick up point. A cast member said the best way to there was to take bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge, then transfer. The same way we took when we came... Finally we could get back the park just before Rivers of Light, the night time show.
リバーズ・オブ・ライトは、客席全体がこんな感じで斜めになっていて、どこでも見やすい感じでした。私たちはランチでダイニングパッケージを使ったので、専用鑑賞エリアに入れるチケットを持っていることもあり、直前に着いてもきちんと席は取ることができました。やれやれ。
Audience seats of Rivers of Light is, as this photo, located on sloping surface. Guest could watch the show anywhere from seats. As we had Dining Package tickets, we could have good seats even though we arrived there just before the show.
オーランド ウォルトディズニーワールドへ行こう（1日目：ディズニー・アニマルキングダム2） / Trip to Walt Disney World, Orlando (Day 1 : Disney's Animal Kingdom 2)
アニマルキングダムでのランチは、タスカー・ハウス・レストランでのキャラクターダイニング！。このレストラン、正式名称はドナルドの、サファリ・タスカー・ハウス・レストランというそうです。ブログ書きながらガイドマップ見て、今気づきました・・。「タスカー」って何かしらと辞書を調べたら、大きい牙の生えた動物のことだそうで、確かに今写真を拡大してみたら、ドナルドの胸のワッペンにはサイの絵が書いてありました。予約時間は11:20am、受付を済ませるとぶるぶる震えるページャーを渡されます。15分くらいは待ったかな。私たちは、夜のショー、リバーズオブライトのダイニングパッケージとして申し込んだので、お席に着くとさっそくショーの鑑賞券をもらいました。
Our lunch at Disney's Animal Kingdom was Character Dining at Tusker House Restaurant. Its official name is "Donald's Safari at Tusker House Restaurant" according to the guide map. There was sign of a rhinoceros on Donald's breast, in association with "tusker". Our reservation was 11:20am. Once checked-in, a cast handed a pager to us. I think we waited about 15min. for table. Once a cast took us to the table, we got tickets of Rivers of Light, the night time show, because our reservation was Rivers of Light Dining Package.
食事はブッフェ形式のアフリカ料理。サラダ（パクチーが入っているものがあったのでキライな方はご注意！）、スープ、オーブン焼きの肉類や野菜、パン（コーンブレッドがおいしかったです）、クッキーなどのデザート、などなど、豊富でした。焼いたバナナやフムスがあるところが、アフリカ料理っぽさ、なんでしょうかね。初めて食べるものを多く、おかげで食べ過ぎました。キャラクターたちは席を順番に回ってくるので、隙を見ながらだったはずなのに・・・。炭酸飲料、紅茶、コーヒーは料金に含まれてました。私はもっぱら甘くないアイスティーです（Unsweetened Iced Tea、アンスウィートゥンド・アイスティーというと通じます）。アルコール類もあります。
It was buffet style African-inspired cuisine. Salad(some contained coriander), soup, roasted meat and vegetable, breads(corn bread was good), deserts, etc. Roasted banana and hummus were African menu. There was many foods. I ate too much. Soda, tea and coffee were included. Alcoholic drinks were available.

2017年末から2018年のウォルトディズニーワールドへの旅、本編でございます。日本を出たのが2017年12月28日。この日はほぼ1日かけてオーランドに移動し、そのままホテルで寝ただけだったので、12月29日の話からスタートします。機内食やらラウンジの写真はまた追々。
I would like to start my travel diary about the trip to Walt Disney World. We left Japan on December 28th, 2017. It was long travel to Orlando. Once we got the hotel, we just went to bed. Thus this travel diary starts from events December 29th. I will talk about in flight meals and lounges later.
実質の1日目は、ディズニー・アニマルキングダムでした。絶対乗りたいアトラクションは事前にファストパス・プラスを取得済みなので、オープン前にはゲートにいなきゃ、みたいな焦りもなくホテルを出発です。これ、ファストパス・プラスの利点だなと思いました。ロビーにはまだクリスマスツリー。というか空港からすべてがまだクリスマスモードだったので、年末だということを忘れちゃいます。ホテルからはバスで20分くらい。ディズニー・アニマルキングダムに到着です！入り口での、念入りな荷物チェックの後、無事入園。あの木だ～。
We visited Disney's Animal Kingdom on practical day 1. As we already had FastPass+ of "Must do" attractions, we didn't need to rush. I think this is advantage of FastPass+. There still was a Christmas tree near hotel lobby. In Japan, they remove all Christmas trees and decorations during late night of December-25. So I felt it was still early December, not end of year. By Disney Transport Bus, it took 20 min. from hotel to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. After baggage inspection, we entered the Park. I saw symbol tree!
パークの中にはリスがいました。ホテルにもいたから、野生なのかも。最初のアトラクションは、アフリカというエリアにあるキリマンジャロ・サファリ！キャストの方が運転する車に乗って、サバンナにいる動物たちを眺めるアトラクションです。写真は上手く撮れなかったんですが、象やキリンなどなど、たくさんの動物を見ることができました。ガタガタとゆれる車が、冒険っぽくて楽しい！

みなさまこんにちは、ねこたろうです。無事に帰ってまいりました～。帰ってきたのは1月3日だったんですが、ぐったりと疲れて動けず・・・。今日からブログ再開です。2月にはパリが控えてますし、急いで書かなくちゃ！まず最初に、旅の準備が上手くいったのかをレポートします。
Hi, I'm back from WDW:) Actually I went back on January 3rd, but I couldn't write blogs because of tiredness. I have to report my WDW trip as soon as possible as I will come to Paris on February. First of all, I would like to report results of my preparations.
ホテル : ディズニー・ポップ・センチュリー・リゾート
ディズニー直営のバリューカテゴリーのホテルです。パークからは道がすいていれば20分くらいの場所にあって、すべてディズニートランスポートというバスを利用していきます。敷地はとにかく広い～。団地みたいな感じでした。フロントと同じ建物には、グッズ類を売っているお店と、フードコートがありますが、それぞれ夜は24時まででしまってしまうため、あんまり利用できませんでした。客室は、冷蔵庫とドライヤーは装備、ポットや食器類、コーヒーメーカーは置いてありませんでした。とはいえ、寝るだけのためのホテルとしては十分ですね。そうそう、客室のテレビで、今日のお天気とパークの営業時間が見れたのは便利でした。
Hotel : Disney's Pop Century Resort
This is a value class hotel in WDW. It takes about 20 min. from Parks if no traffic jam, by Disney Transport bus. There are a lot of rooms in the wide grounds, it is like a housing complex. Disney goods shop and a food court are located at the same building of front office, but we couldn't utilize them because they are closed at midnight. In guest room, there were a refrigerator and a hair dryer. No electric kettle, no coffee maker, and no tableware. It was worth staying for us. By the way, we could see weatherforecast and parks' opening hour from TV in my room. It was useful.
空港とホテルの移動 : ディズニー・マジカル・エクスプレス
オーランド空港で飛行機を降りてすぐに、「マジカル・エクスプレスはターミナルBのレベル1だよ」とかわいいミッキーの表示があり、迷うことなく乗り場にたどり着けました。バスの中はにぎやかにビデオが流れており、バスの中から気分はディズニー。帰りもキャラたちにまた来てねといわれちゃうと、また来たくなっちゃいます。
Ground Transportation between hotel and airport : Disney's Magical Express
It is a complimentary motorcoach transportation. Soon after I got off the aircraft at Orlando airport, I could find a sign board "Disney's Magical Express is located in terminal B level 1" with cute Mickey Mouse illustration. Thus we could get there without getting lost. We could watch Disney video in the bus. I felt I was in the Park already.
ネットスーパー : Garden Grocer.com
以前ご紹介したとおり、事前にGarden Grocer.comというネットスーパーでさまざま食べ物を注文してありました。これが、とても助かりました！フードコートがやっていない時間でも部屋に食べ物があるって、ハードな日程の中では重要な助けとなりました。トラベルポットも持っていってよかったー。部屋から出ずに、温かい飲み物が飲めるだけでも疲れが和らぎました。チェックインしたあと、Luggage Serviceというカウンターに「私たちにガーデングローサーから荷物が届いていると思うの」と言いにいったところ、キャストの方が「今さっき部屋に持っていったよ！」とのこと。確かに部屋に入ると、どどんと置いてあったのでした。
Online Supermarket : Garden Grocer.com
As I wrote, we had ordered various foods via Garden Grocer.com, a online supermarket. It was very much helpful! As our travel plan was so hard, foods in our room made peace of our mind. Travel electric kettle was also helpful. We could have warm drink without going out. After check-in, we visited Luggage Service counter to ask where was our delivered foods. A cast member said "They have just brought to your room:)" They were actually in our room already.

みなさま、あけましておめでとうございます。といっても、ねこたろう本体はWDWを旅行中でして、年明けにはまだ時間があるんですが。旅行記は追々更新していくとして、30日のマジックキングダムのカウントダウンの花火を先んじて載せて、新年のご挨拶とさせていただきます。
Happy New Year! Actually it is not new year at Walt Disney World where I am now...haha. I will write blog about my trip to WDW later, but I would like to share a picture I took while pre-count down fireworks at Magic Kingdom, on Dec-30.
